Cabin Crew Opportunity (Recruitment Drive in Cyprus)

Role Overview
The Cabin Crew member serves as Air Arabia's ambassador, working to foster customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. This role is paramount in delivering excellent customer service while ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The individual is expected to be ready and fit for duty, maintaining productivity in line with company policies, procedures, and set measures.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct:
- Ensures punctuality, impeccable grooming, physical fitness, and legal readiness for assigned flights. Participates actively in pre-flight briefings to understand flight details, allocated duties, security checks, boarding procedures, and targets.
Safety Measures:
- Instructs passengers on essential safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times during the flight.
- Identifies potential safety and security risks on board and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers requiring medical assistance during the flight.
- Promptly reports any irregularities, malfunctions, or incidents to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain as necessary.
Customer Service:
- Welcomes passengers during boarding and assists with formalities; accurately records necessary data in the aircraft log book following Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Delivers consistent, high-quality customer service, attending to passenger pre-bookings, specific requests, and individual needs.
- Identifies and provides support to passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to guidelines outlined in the Operations Manual and relevant instructions.
- Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and supporting the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board products, meals, and charity initiatives, thereby achieving individual and team sales targets.
- Handles cash and credit card payments received for sales and donations securely and responsibly.
Crosschecking and Reports:
- Conducts thorough pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering stock, and other specified items before departure; reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned during transit stops and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are available before the next flight segment.
- Manages the orderly handover or takeover of the cabin with catering, cleaning, and maintenance personnel.
- Participates in post-flight briefings and completes assessment reports according to established policies and procedures, providing objective feedback, reporting discrepancies, and handling the closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
- Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and is prepared to perform the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains required professional knowledge, safety standards, and competency through regular recurrent training, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and ensuring license currency.
- Actively contributes to team success by achieving related results and meeting allocated sales targets and objectives.
Requirements
- Age: Between 20 to 33 years.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm for females, 170 cm for males.
- Weight: To be in proportion to age and height.
- Clear skin without visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medically and physically fit to perform all Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications & Experience
- A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable for this role; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is considered advantageous.
- Training certifications in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures are valued.
- Must be fit to fly with good general health, free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Previous experience as Cabin Crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is an added advantage.
- Possession of an active Cabin Crew license is beneficial.
- Capable of working flexible shift patterns and extended working hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
