Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew member serves as a key ambassador, diligently working to foster customer loyalty and consistently project a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall passenger experience. The role demands the provision of exceptional customer service while ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the entire flight cycle. Cabin Crew are required to be consistently prepared and medically fit to operate flights, maintaining productivity in accordance with established measures and company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of a Cabin Crew member include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring timely attendance, maintaining required grooming standards, physical fitness, and personal compliance with all flight regulations.
- Actively participating in pre-flight briefings to confirm understanding of flight specifics, role assignments, targets, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
- Instructing passengers on essential safety procedures to guarantee their well-being and comfort during the flight.
- Identifying potential safety and security risks and collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions aligned with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administering necessary first aid assistance to passengers when required.
- Promptly reporting any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain as appropriate.
- Welcoming passengers and assisting with boarding formalities, including accurate data entry into the aircraft log book according to company and regulatory procedures (Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA).
- Delivering continuous excellent customer service by attending to passengers' pre-bookings, requests, and individual needs.
- Identifying and assisting passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to guidelines in the Operations Manual and relevant instructions.
- Contributing to maximizing on-board revenue and supporting the “Charity Cloud” program through effective promotion of on-board meals, products, and charity services, thereby meeting individual and team targets.
- Ensuring the secure and accurate handling of cash and credit card payments for sales and donations.
- Conducting thorough pre-flight checks to confirm adequate supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other required items are on board before departure. Reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain as needed.
- Assisting in maintaining a thoroughly cleaned aircraft cabin at transit points and ensuring sufficient re-catering and duty-free stock are loaded before subsequent flights.
- Managing the orderly and complete handover and takeover of the cabin with catering, cleaning, and maintenance personnel.
- Completing post-flight briefings and assessment reports according to established policies. This includes providing objective evaluations, reporting flight issues or discrepancies, and managing duty-free related tasks.
- Reporting passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and undertaking the duties of ‘Cabin Supervisor’ when designated by the Captain.
- Maintaining current professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and ensuring the validity of licenses.
- Actively contributing to team success by achieving related results and meeting allocated sales targets and objectives.
Essential Requirements
Candidates applying for this role must meet the following criteria:
- Age: Between 20 and 33 years.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male).
- Weight: Must be in proportion to height and age.
- Clear skin, free from visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medically and physically fit to competently perform all Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required. A diploma in Travel/Tourism is considered advantageous.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is beneficial.
- Candidates must be fit to fly, possessing good general health with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected.
- Candidates must be fluent in both written and spoken English.

- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation or hospitality industries is preferred.
- Holding an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- The role requires capability to work in a shift pattern and for extended hours.

- Ability to contribute effectively and meet established policies, procedures, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) is essential.
