Job Summary
The Cabin Crew member serves as a crucial ambassador for the airline, committed to fostering profound customer loyalty and consistently promoting a positive corporate image. The role demands the provision of excellent customer service to all passengers while meticulously ensuring their safety and comfort are maintained throughout every phase of the flight cycle. Cabin Crew are expected to be fully prepared and physically fit for operations, maintaining productivity in strict adherence to established company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Readiness & Professional Conduct: Ensures timely attendance, impeccable grooming, physical fitness, and legal compliance for all assigned flights. Actively participates in pre-flight briefings to assimilate flight details, understand role distributions, targets, security checks, and boarding protocols.
- Safety & Emergency Procedures: Instructs passengers on critical safety procedures, prioritizing their well-being and comfort at all times. Proactively identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating seamlessly with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions in strict accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administers first aid to passengers as required. Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain, as appropriate, of any irregularities or malfunctions. Conducts comprehensive pre-flight checks of essential supplies, emergency equipment, and catering provisions, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
- Exceptional Customer Service: Extends a warm welcome to passengers and provides comprehensive assistance with boarding formalities. Accurately enters necessary data into the aircraft log book, adhering to both company and regulatory procedures. Delivers consistently excellent customer service, proactively attending to passengers' pre-bookings, special requests, and individual needs. Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, meticulously following established policies and procedures detailed in the Operations Manual.
- In-flight Sales & Reporting: Contributes significantly to maximizing on-board revenue and supports the "Charity Cloud" program by efficiently promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team targets. Ensures the proper and secure handling of all cash and credit card payments received against individual sales and donations. Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before subsequent flights. Facilitates an orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin with catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff. Participates in post-flight briefings and completes assessment reports as per adopted policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations, reporting any flight problems or discrepancies, and ensuring the secure closure and sealing of duty-free containers. Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for the conduct of passengers and performs the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when officially designated by the Captain. Maintains necessary professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, and educational workshops, and by ensuring current license validity. Contributes actively to team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Candidate Profile / Important Requirements
- Age: Between 20 to 33 years.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm for female candidates, 170 cm for male candidates.
- Weight: Must be in proportion to age and height.
- Skin: Clear skin, free from visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Health: Medically and physically fit to perform all Cabin Crew duties.
- Swimming: Demonstrated ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications & Experience
Education & Training:
- A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is considered an advantage.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
- Must be fit to fly, possess good general health, and have no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
Skills & Languages:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply for this role.
- Previous experience as Cabin Crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is highly valued.
- Possession of an active Cabin Crew license is a distinct advantage.
