Job Purpose

The Cabin Crew member serves as a pivotal brand ambassador, dedicated to cultivating passenger loyalty and fostering a positive corporate image. This role is paramount in enhancing the overall customer journey, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The successful candidate must maintain a state of readiness and physical fitness to operate flights efficiently, adhering strictly to established productivity measures and company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Readiness and Conduct: Ensures timely reporting for duty, impeccable grooming standards, physical fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Actively participates in pre-flight briefings to review flight details, understand role assignments, security protocols, boarding procedures, and targets.

Safety and Security: Instructs passengers on essential safety procedures, maintaining their safety and comfort at all times. Proactively identifies potential safety and security risks and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Provides first aid assistance to passengers when necessary. Promptly reports any irregularities or equipment malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain as required.

Exceptional Customer Service: Extends a warm welcome to passengers and assists with boarding formalities. Accurately enters necessary data into the aircraft log book in accordance with company and regulatory authority procedures. Consistently delivers outstanding customer service by attending to individual passenger needs, pre-bookings, and requests. Identifies and supports passengers who may be experiencing stress or difficulties, following documented procedures.

Onboard Revenue and Engagement: Actively contributes to maximizing onboard revenue and supporting charitable initiatives by effectively promoting onboard meals, products, and charity services, working towards achieving individual and team sales targets. Ensures the secure and accurate handling of cash and credit card payments for sales and donations.

Pre and Post-Flight Duties: Conducts thorough pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other specified items are onboard. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain. Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is clean at transit stations and that catering and duty-free products are replenished before departure. Manages the orderly handover or takeover of the cabin to/from ground staff (catering, cleaning, maintenance). Participates in post-flight briefings and completes assessment reports as per policy, providing objective feedback on the Cabin Supervisor, reporting flight discrepancies, and managing duty-free inventory. Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and may assume the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.

Professional Development: Maintains necessary professional knowledge and safety competency through participation in recurrent and emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and ensuring current license validity. Contributes to team objectives and achieves allocated sales targets.
