Job Purpose

Air Arabia is seeking dedicated and customer-focused individuals to join its esteemed Cabin Crew team. The Cabin Crew Member serves as a vital brand ambassador, committed to fostering customer loyalty and projecting a positive corporate image. This pivotal role is paramount in delivering exceptional passenger service, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of all individuals throughout the entire flight journey. Candidates must consistently adhere to company policies and procedures, demonstrating readiness and fitness to operate efficiently and productively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring personal readiness for all assigned flights, which includes timely attendance, impeccable grooming, and physical fitness. Active participation in pre-flight briefings is essential to confirm flight details, understand role assignments, review security protocols, and acknowledge operational targets.
  • Prioritizing passenger safety and comfort by clearly instructing on safety procedures, identifying potential risks, and collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The role involves providing essential first aid when required and promptly reporting any operational irregularities or malfunctions to the appropriate flight crew members.
  • Delivering consistently excellent customer service, which includes warmly welcoming passengers, assisting with boarding formalities, and managing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Proactively identifying and supporting passengers in distress, adhering strictly to operational guidelines outlined in the Operations Manual.
  • Contributing significantly to ancillary revenue generation through the effective promotion of onboard meals, products, and the “Charity Cloud” program, striving to meet individual and team sales targets. This includes ensuring meticulous and secure handling of all cash and credit card transactions.
  • Conducting comprehensive pre-flight checks of emergency equipment, catering supplies, and other specified aircraft provisions, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain. Overseeing cabin cleanliness, re-catering, and duty-free restocking during transit stations.
  • Facilitating seamless handover and takeover procedures of the cabin to and from ground services, including catering, cleaning, and maintenance teams.
  • Participating in post-flight debriefings, submitting accurate assessment reports as per adopted policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations, documenting flight discrepancies, and ensuring the secure closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
  • Maintaining continuous professional development by attending recurrent training, emergency procedure workshops, and educational sessions, while ensuring all licenses remain current.
  • Acting as a designated Cabin Supervisor when required by the Captain, which includes accounting for the conduct of passengers and assuming additional leadership responsibilities.
  • Collaborating effectively within a team environment to achieve collective objectives and allocated sales targets.

Essential Requirements

  • Age: Candidates without prior Cabin Crew experience must be between 20 and 26 years old. Experienced Cabin Crew candidates may be up to 33 years old.
  • Height: Minimum height of 160 cm for female applicants and 168 cm for male applicants.
  • Physical Attributes: Weight must be proportionate to height and age. Applicants must possess clear skin, free from visible marks or tattoos when in uniform.
  • Fitness: Medically and physically fit to perform all Cabin Crew duties, including the ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required. A Diploma in Travel/Tourism is highly advantageous.
  • Health & Fitness: Demonstrated excellent general health, free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases, and certified 'fit to fly'.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory. Proficiency in Arabic is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Certifications (Advantageous): Current certifications or training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures are considered a significant asset.

Experience

  • Applications are welcomed from fresh graduates eager to embark on an exciting career in aviation.
  • Prior experience as a Cabin Crew Member or in a customer service role within the airline, aviation, or hospitality industries is a distinct advantage.
  • Possession of an active Cabin Crew license is highly desirable.
  • Candidates must exhibit a strong capability for working flexible shift patterns, including extended hours, and demonstrate high adaptability to dynamic schedules and frequent changes.
  • A proven ability to adhere to company policies and procedures, contributing effectively to team goals and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), is essential.
