Position Overview

Air Arabia is seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join its esteemed team as Cabin Crew / Flight Attendants. This crucial role serves as a frontline ambassador for Air Arabia, striving to cultivate exceptional customer loyalty and consistently promoting a positive corporate image. The Cabin Crew is responsible for delivering unparalleled customer service to all passengers while meticulously ensuring their safety and comfort throughout every phase of the flight cycle. Candidates must demonstrate consistent operational readiness and fitness, adhering strictly to established productivity measures and all company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

The Cabin Crew member will execute a comprehensive range of duties, spanning operational readiness, passenger safety, service excellence, and flight management:

Operational Readiness & Conduct

  • Ensures punctual attendance, maintains impeccable grooming standards, and verifies personal fitness and legal compliance for all assigned flights.
  • Actively participates in pre-flight briefings to confirm flight details, understand role distribution, sales targets, security checks, and boarding protocols.

Passenger Safety & Security

  • Provides clear, comprehensive safety instructions to passengers, ensuring their utmost safety and comfort at all times during the flight.
  • Identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating proactively with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions in strict accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Administers essential first aid to passengers whenever necessary.
  • Promptly reports any irregularities, incidents, or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain, as appropriate.

Customer Service Excellence

  • Warmly welcomes passengers and provides assistance during boarding formalities, meticulously entering necessary data into the aircraft log book in adherence to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA adopted procedures.
  • Delivers consistent, exceptional customer service by proactively attending to individual passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
  • Identifies and offers compassionate assistance to passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, strictly following the corresponding policies and procedures detailed in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
  • Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the “Charity Cloud” program through the efficient promotion of in-flight meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team sales targets.
  • Ensures the proper, secure, and accurate handling of all cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.

Pre-Flight & Post-Flight Management

  • Conducts thorough pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other specified equipment prior to take-off, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain as appropriate.
  • Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is meticulously cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before subsequent flights.
  • Facilitates an orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
  • Executes post-flight briefings and assessment reports in accordance with adopted policies and procedures, including providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting any flight-related problems or discrepancies, and ensuring the secure closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
  • Reports passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and assumes the duties of Cabin Supervisor when formally designated by the Captain.

Professional Development & Team Contribution

  • Maintains and enhances professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and educational workshops, ensuring all licenses remain current.
  • Actively contributes to overall team effort by accomplishing assigned tasks, achieving related results, and meeting allocated sales targets and objectives.

Essential Requirements

  • Age: Between 20 to 26 years for candidates without previous Cabin Crew experience. Up to 33 years for experienced Cabin Crew.
  • Height: Minimum 160 cm for females, 168 cm for males.
  • Weight: Must be in proportion to age and height.
  • Appearance: Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
  • Medical Fitness: Medically and physically fit to perform all Cabin Crew duties, possessing good general health, and free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Swimming Ability: Demonstrates the ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications & Training

  • A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required for this role; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is considered a significant advantage.
  • Prior training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Languages: Mandatory fluency in both written and spoken English. Fluency in Arabic is highly preferred.

Experience & Skills

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for this dynamic role.
  • Previous experience as Cabin Crew or in a customer service capacity within the Airlines/Aviation or Hospitality industries is highly valued.
  • Possession of an active Cabin Crew license is considered a distinct advantage.
  • Capable of working effectively in a shift pattern and accommodating extended working hours as required by operational demands.
  • Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent operational changes and busy flight schedules.
  • Exhibits a proven ability to contribute positively to team objectives and consistently deliver against established policies, procedures, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
