As an ambassador for the airline, the Cabin Crew Member is dedicated to fostering passenger loyalty and projecting a positive corporate image. This is achieved through consistently elevating the overall customer experience. The role involves providing exceptional customer service to all passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort are prioritized throughout the entire flight duration. The Cabin Crew Member is expected to maintain readiness and fitness for duty, operating in alignment with performance metrics and adhering strictly to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures timely attendance, impeccable grooming, physical fitness, and legal readiness for assigned flights. Actively participates in pre-flight briefings to confirm awareness of flight details, understand assigned roles, targets, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
  • Educates passengers on essential safety procedures, continuously prioritizing their safety and comfort.
  • Identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Provides essential first aid to passengers as needed.
  • Promptly reports any irregularities or equipment malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain as necessary.
  • Extends a warm welcome to passengers and assists with boarding processes; accurately records necessary data in the aircraft log book following established airline and regulatory authority procedures.
  • Delivers consistent, excellent customer service, addressing individual passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
  • Identifies and offers assistance to passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to guidelines outlined in the Operations Manual and relevant instructions.
  • Actively contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and supporting charitable initiatives by effectively promoting on-board products, meals, and services, thereby achieving individual and team sales targets.
  • Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card transactions for personal sales and donations.
  • Conducts thorough pre-flight checks of supplies, emergency equipment, catering provisions, and other specified items before departure. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
  • Assists in verifying the thorough cleaning of the aircraft cabin during transit and confirming adequate re-catering supplies and duty-free products are on board before subsequent flights.
  • Facilitates orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and maintenance personnel.
  • Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports according to policies, including providing objective feedback on the Cabin Supervisor, reporting flight problems or discrepancies, and ensuring duty-free containers are properly closed and sealed.
  • Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and is prepared to fulfill Cabin Supervisor duties when assigned by the Captain.
  • Maintains professional competence and safety knowledge by participating in recurrent training, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and ensuring the currency of necessary licenses.
  • Supports team objectives and contributes to collective success by achieving allocated sales targets and performance indicators.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Applicants should be between 20 and 33 years of age.
  • Minimum height requirement: 160 cm for females and 170 cm for males.
  • Weight should be in proportion to age and height.
  • Must have clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
  • Must be medically and physically fit to perform all assigned Cabin Crew duties.
  • Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device is required.
  • A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is the minimum academic requirement; a diploma in Travel or Tourism is considered advantageous.
  • Training certifications in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures are valuable assets.
  • Must meet "fit to fly" medical standards, possess good general health, and have no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is expected.
  • Fluent command of both written and spoken English is essential.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is considered a significant advantage.
  • Possession of an active cabin crew license is beneficial.
  • Must be capable of working variable shift patterns and extended hours as required.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and demanding schedules.
  • Proven ability to contribute effectively and meet established performance indicators, policies, and procedures.
