Air Arabia Cabin Crew Position
Air Arabia seeks a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join its cabin crew team. This role requires the successful candidate to act as an ambassador for the airline, consistently promoting a positive brand image while ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout every stage of the flight. Productivity must align with established metrics and company policies. This recruitment drive is being held in Madrid, Spain; interested candidates should apply through the designated channels. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct and Safety:
- Ensures punctual attendance, adheres to grooming standards, maintains fitness, and complies with all legal requirements for assigned flights. Attends pre-flight briefings to confirm flight details, roles, targets, and security protocols.
- Provides passengers with clear and concise safety instructions, maintaining their safety and comfort.
- Proactively identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers as needed.
- Promptly reports any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain as appropriate.
Customer Service and Revenue Generation:
- Warmly welcomes passengers, assists with boarding procedures, and accurately records necessary data in the aircraft logbook.
- Provides exceptional customer service, attending to passenger requests and needs, including pre-booked services.
- Assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Contributes to maximizing onboard revenue and supporting the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting onboard meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets.
- Handles cash and credit card payments securely and accurately.
Operational Procedures and Reporting:
- Conducts thorough pre-flight checks of supplies, emergency equipment, and catering, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assists in ensuring thorough cabin cleaning at transit stations and the replenishment of catering and duty-free products.
- Ensures orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
- Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports, providing objective evaluations and reporting any issues or discrepancies. This includes the sealing and securing of duty-free containers.
- Reports passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and fulfills the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains professional knowledge and skills through recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and workshops, ensuring all licenses remain current.
- Contributes to the team's success by achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Essential Requirements:
- Age: 20-30 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to age and height
- Clear skin, free from visible marks or tattoos while wearing the uniform.
- Excellent physical and medical fitness for cabin crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (a diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous).
- First aid, safety, and emergency procedure training (preferred).
- Excellent health, free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Prior experience as cabin crew or in customer service within the airline, aviation, or hospitality industries is beneficial. An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Ability to work shifts and extended hours, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
