Job Purpose:

The Cabin Crew member acts as an Air Arabia ambassador, striving to achieve customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. He/She provides excellent customer service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The Cabin Crew member must be ready and fit to operate, ensuring productivity aligns with established measures and company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct: Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legality for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, role distribution, targets, and security checks.
  • Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort. Identifies safety and security risks and partners with the Cabin Supervisor for remedial action according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administers first aid when necessary and promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of irregularities and malfunctions.
  • Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft log book. Provides excellent customer service by attending to pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following Operations Manual procedures. Maximizes on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets. Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments.
  • Crosschecking and Reports: Performs pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering equipment, reporting any deficiencies. Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned and re-catered. Ensures orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to catering, cleaning, or maintenance staff. Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports, providing objective evaluations and reporting any problems or discrepancies. Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and carries out the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated.
  • Maintains professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, and educational workshops, ensuring a current license. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.

Important Requirements:

  • Age: 20 to 30 years
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
  • Weight: Proportional to Age and Height
  • Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
  • Medically/Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
  • Ability to swim with a flotation device

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is advantageous.
  • Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Work Experience:

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience as cabin crew or in customer service roles within the Airlines/Aviation or hospitality industries is an advantage.
  • An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
  • Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
  • Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
