Job Description
The Cabin Crew member acts as Air Arabia’s ambassador, committed to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. The ideal candidate provides exceptional customer service to all passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight. They are expected to be prepared and fit for duty, maintaining productivity in accordance with established standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring timely attendance, proper grooming, physical fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights and attending briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
- Instructing passengers on safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifying and addressing safety and security risks in partnership with the Cabin Supervisor, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administering first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informing the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Welcoming passengers, assisting with boarding procedures, and entering required data into the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA guidelines.
- Delivering consistently excellent customer service by attending to passengers' individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifying and assisting passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to relevant policies and procedures in the Operations Manual.
- Contributing to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensuring the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments from individual sales and donations.
- Conducting pre-flight checks to ensure adequate supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items; reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assisting in maintaining a clean aircraft cabin during transit stops and ensuring adequate re-catering and duty-free products are available before departure.
- Ensuring orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
- Completing post-flight briefings and assessment reports as per established policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, and reporting any flight-related issues or discrepancies, including sealing duty-free containers.
- Reporting on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and assuming the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain.
- Maintaining professional and safety knowledge by participating in recurrent trainings, emergency procedure drills, and educational workshops, while also maintaining a current license.
- Contributing to team success by achieving related results and allocated sales targets.
Important Requirements
- Age: 20 to 33 years.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male).
- Weight: Proportional to age and height.
- Clear skin, free of visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate required; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is advantageous.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation or Hospitality industries is a plus.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shifts and for extended hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute to and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
