Role Summary

The Cabin Crew member serves as a vital ambassador for the airline, committed to cultivating customer loyalty and projecting a positive corporate image at all times. This is achieved by consistently enhancing the overall customer experience. The role involves delivering outstanding customer service to all passengers while diligently ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The successful candidate is expected to be ready and fit to operate, maintaining productivity in alignment with established metrics and the company's adopted policies and procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures timely attendance, adheres to proper grooming standards, maintains personal fitness, and verifies legal readiness for assigned flights. Attends pre-flight briefings to confirm understanding of flight details, role distribution, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
  • Instructs passengers on essential safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the flight.
  • Identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective measures in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Administers necessary first aid to passengers.
  • Promptly reports any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain, as appropriate.
  • Welcomes passengers and facilitates boarding formalities. Records necessary data in the aircraft log book in compliance with company and regulatory authority procedures (GCAA/CAA).
  • Provides consistently excellent customer service, attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
  • Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and relevant instructions.
  • Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and supporting the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received from individual sales and donations managed by the crew member.
  • Conducts pre-flight checks to confirm sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other specified equipment are available before departure. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
  • Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned during transit stops and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before subsequent flights.
  • Ensures an orderly and complete handover or takeover of the cabin to or from catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
  • Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports according to adopted policies, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting any flight problems or discrepancies, and ensuring duty-free containers are properly closed and sealed.
  • Accounts for passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor. Assumes the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain.
  • Maintains required professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedure trainings, and educational workshops, and by ensuring their license remains current.
  • Contributes to overall team objectives by achieving related results and meeting allocated sales targets.

Essential Requirements

  • Age between 20 to 33 years.
  • Minimum height of 160 cm for females and 170 cm for males.
  • Weight must be in proportion to age and height.
  • Clear skin free from visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
  • Medically and physically fit to perform all Cabin Crew duties.
  • Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications

  • A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable. A diploma in Travel or Tourism is considered advantageous.
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
  • Must be fit to fly, possess good general health, and have no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory.

Work Experience & Skills

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is beneficial.
  • An active cabin crew license is considered an advantage.
  • Capability to work rotating shifts and extended hours.
  • Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability in response to frequent changes and demanding schedules.
  • Proven ability to contribute effectively and successfully meet performance targets aligned with policies, procedures, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
