Cabin Crew Open Day - Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

Air Arabia is hosting an open day in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, for aspiring cabin crew members. Interested candidates are invited to apply online. Shortlisted applicants will receive an invitation email with venue, time, and date details 2-3 days prior to the event.

Job Purpose:

The Cabin Crew member acts as an ambassador for Air Arabia, promoting a positive corporate image and striving for customer loyalty. They are responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The role requires readiness and fitness to operate, adhering to company policies and procedures to maintain productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct: Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, and fitness for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, roles, security checks, and boarding procedures.
  • Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on safety procedures, identifies safety and security risks, and takes remedial action with the Cabin Supervisor. Administers first aid when necessary, promptly informing supervisors and the flight crew of irregularities or malfunctions.
  • Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft logbook. Provides constant, excellent service, attending to passenger requests and needs. Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties. Contributes to onboard revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets. Ensures proper handling of cash and credit card payments.
  • Crosschecking and Reports: Conducts pre-flight checks for supplies, emergency equipment, and catering. Reports deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain. Assists in ensuring cabin cleanliness at transit stations. Ensures orderly handover of the cabin to catering, cleaning, or maintenance staff. Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports, provides objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor, and reports any discrepancies on the flight. Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct, and carries out duties of the Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
  • Maintains professional and safety knowledge through recurrent training, and ensures current license. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, and achieving allocated sales targets.

Important Requirements:

  • Age: Between 20 and 33 years.
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male).
  • Weight: Proportional to age and height.
  • Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
  • Medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties.
  • Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate. A diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
  • Fit to fly, with good general health, and no serious medical or chronic conditions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Work Experience:

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous cabin crew or customer service experience in the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality Industries is an advantage.
  • Active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
  • High flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
  • Ability to contribute to policies, procedures and KPIs.
