Cabin Crew
As a Cabin Crew member, the individual serves as a vital ambassador for the airline, dedicated to cultivating customer loyalty and consistently projecting a positive corporate image. The role centres on providing excellent customer service to all passengers while rigorously ensuring their safety and comfort throughout every phase of the flight. Key Responsibilities
Operational Readiness:
- Ensures punctual attendance, maintaining immaculate grooming and physical fitness, and confirming personal readiness and required legality for all assigned flights.
- Actively participates in pre-flight briefings to stay informed on flight details, role assignments, targets, essential security checks, and boarding procedures.
- Conducts thorough pre-flight checks to verify adequate supplies, emergency equipment, catering provisions, and other specified equipment before departure. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain as appropriate.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is meticulously cleaned during transit stops and confirms that sufficient re-catering and duty-free products are available before subsequent flights.
- Ensures a seamless and complete handover or takeover of the cabin with catering, cleaning, and maintenance personnel.
- Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports in accordance with company policies, providing objective feedback on the Cabin Supervisor, reporting flight issues, and managing the closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
- Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and is prepared to undertake the duties of the Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains required professional standards and safety knowledge by regularly attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and workshops, ensuring all licenses remain current.
Safety and Security:
- Effectively instructs passengers on all necessary safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort are paramount throughout the flight.
- Proactively identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement appropriate remedial actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provides necessary first aid assistance to passengers when required.
- Promptly reports any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain as appropriate.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Warmly welcomes passengers and provides assistance with boarding formalities. Accurately records necessary data in the aircraft log book in compliance with company and regulatory procedures.
- Delivers consistently excellent customer service by attentively addressing passengers' pre-bookings, requests, and individual needs.
- Identifies and offers support to passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and relevant instructions.
- Actively contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and supporting the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team sales targets.
- Manages cash and credit card payments for sales and donations securely and accurately.
Team Contribution:
- Contributes effectively to the team by successfully achieving assigned sales targets and objectives.
Essential Requirements
- Age: Between 20 and 33 years.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male).
- Weight must be in proportion to age and height.
- Possesses clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Must be medically and physically fit to fulfil all Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim using a flotation device is required.
Qualifications
- Holds a Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel or Tourism is advantageous.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is considered an added value.
- Certifiably fit to fly with good general health, free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrates fluency in both written and spoken English.
Work Experience
- Applications from fresh graduates are welcomed.
- Previous experience in a Cabin Crew role or a customer service position within the airline, aviation, or hospitality sectors is highly valued.
- Possession of an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Must be capable of working varied shift patterns and potentially extended hours.
- Exhibits high levels of flexibility and adaptability to accommodate frequent operational changes and demanding schedules.
- Proven ability to contribute effectively and achieve results in line with established policies, procedures, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
