Position Summary

The Cabin Crew professional serves as a vital ambassador for Air Arabia, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and upholding a positive corporate image at all times. This role demands the consistent delivery of exceptional customer service, prioritizing passenger safety and comfort across all phases of flight operations. The successful candidate must maintain peak physical and operational readiness, ensuring productivity aligns with established company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Readiness & Conduct:

  • Ensures punctual attendance, impeccable grooming, physical fitness, and compliance with all regulatory requirements for assigned flights.
  • Actively participates in pre-flight briefings to assimilate flight details, understand role distribution, targets, and essential security and boarding procedures.

Safety and Security Protocols:

  • Provides comprehensive instruction to passengers on critical safety procedures, consistently ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Proactively identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions in strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Administers first aid to passengers as required.
  • Promptly reports any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain, as appropriate.

Exceptional Customer Service & In-Flight Experience:

  • Extends a warm welcome to passengers, assisting with boarding formalities and meticulously entering required data into the aircraft log book in accordance with Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
  • Delivers consistently excellent customer service, proactively attending to passenger pre-bookings, requests, and individual needs.
  • Identifies and supports passengers experiencing distress or difficulties, adhering to established policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual.
  • Actively contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the “Charity Cloud” program through effective promotion of in-flight meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team sales targets.
  • Ensures the secure and accurate handling of all cash and credit card payments for sales and donations.

Pre-Flight Checks, Reporting & Continuous Improvement:

  • Conducts thorough pre-flight checks to verify the availability of sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other specified items, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain as appropriate.
  • Assists in maintaining the cleanliness of the aircraft cabin at transit stations and ensures adequate re-catering and duty-free product replenishment before departure.
  • Oversees the orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin with catering, cleaning, and maintenance personnel.
  • Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports in line with company policies, including objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting flight discrepancies, and ensuring the proper closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
  • Is accountable to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and is prepared to assume Cabin Supervisor duties if designated by the Captain.
  • Actively maintains professional and safety knowledge by participating in recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and workshops, ensuring all licenses remain current.
  • Contributes significantly to team objectives by achieving assigned results and sales targets.

Essential Requirements

  • Age: Candidates must be between 20 and 33 years of age.
  • Minimum Height: A minimum height of 160 cm for females and 170 cm for males is required.
  • Weight: Weight should be proportionate to age and height.
  • Appearance: Applicants must possess clear skin, free from visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
  • Physical Fitness: Demonstrated medical and physical fitness to perform all cabin crew duties is essential.
  • Swimming Ability: Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)

  • Education: A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is the minimum academic qualification; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is considered advantageous.
  • Training Certifications: Training certifications in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures are highly valued.
  • Health: Candidates must be medically fit to fly, possessing good general health without serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Language: Fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory.

Experience & Attributes

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Prior experience as cabin crew or in a customer service capacity within the Airlines/Aviation or hospitality industries is a distinct advantage.
  • Possession of an active cabin crew license is beneficial.
  • The successful candidate must be capable of working in shift patterns and for extended hours.
  • Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent operational changes and demanding schedules.
  • Proven ability to contribute effectively and achieve results in line with company policies, procedures, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) is essential.
