The cabin crew member serves as an ambassador for Air Arabia, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive brand image through exceptional customer experiences. This individual provides outstanding service to all passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. They must be prepared and fit to operate, maintaining productivity in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct: Ensuring timely attendance, proper grooming, physical fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights; participating in briefings to acknowledge flight details, assigned roles, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
- Safety Measures: Instructing passengers on safety protocols, ensuring their well-being at all times; identifying and reporting safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor for remedial action according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); administering first aid when necessary; promptly informing the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Customer Service: Welcoming passengers and assisting with boarding procedures, entering necessary data into the aircraft logbook following Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA guidelines; delivering consistently excellent service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs; identifying and supporting passengers experiencing stress or difficulties according to company policies; contributing to onboard revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by promoting meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets; and ensuring secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for sales and donations.
- Crosschecking and Reports: Completing pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other specified items, reporting deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain; assisting with aircraft cabin cleaning and ensuring adequate re-catering and duty-free product provisions during transit stops; ensuring an orderly handover of the cabin to catering, cleaning, or maintenance staff; completing post-flight briefings and assessment reports as per company policies, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting flight issues or discrepancies, and securing duty-free containers; accounting to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger behavior; and carrying out Cabin Supervisor duties as delegated by the Captain, maintaining professional knowledge and safety awareness by attending recurring training, and emergency procedure sessions, ensuring a valid license.
Important requirements for this role include being between 20 to 33 years old; minimum height of 160 cm for females and 170 cm for males; weight in proportion to age and height; clear skin with no visible tattoos or marks while wearing the uniform; medical and physical fitness to perform cabin crew duties; and the ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Academic qualifications include a Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate, with a diploma in Travel/Tourism being advantageous. First Aid and Safety/Emergency Procedures training is also highly valued. Candidates must be fit to fly, possess good general health with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Prior cabin crew or customer service experience in the airlines, aviation, or hospitality sectors is considered a valuable asset, as is an active cabin crew license. Candidates must be capable of working in shift patterns and for extended hours, demonstrating high flexibility, and adapting to frequent changes and busy schedules. They must be able to contribute to and deliver successfully against policies, procedures, and set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
