Cabin Crew Opportunity - Beirut Open Day

Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member acts as an ambassador for Air Arabia. He strives to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall passenger experience. He provides excellent customer service while ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the flight. He maintains readiness and fitness to operate, ensuring productivity aligns with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct:
He ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legality for assigned flights. He attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
Safety Measures:
- He instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- He identifies safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to take corrective action according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- He administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
- He promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
Customer Service:
- He welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- He provides excellent customer service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- He identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to the policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
- He contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets.
- He ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
Crosschecking and Reports:
- He carries out pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering equipment, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- He assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided.
- He ensures the orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- He carries out post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any problems or discrepancies.
- He accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and performs the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain.
- He maintains professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent training, emergency procedure training, and educational workshops, ensuring a current license.
- He contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to Age and Height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically/Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is advantageous.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous cabin crew or customer service experience in the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries is a plus.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shifts and for extended hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
