Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew member serves as a distinguished ambassador for Air Arabia, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and upholding a positive corporate image through consistently superior passenger service. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of all passengers throughout every phase of the flight cycle. The ideal candidate will be operationally ready, physically fit, and committed to maintaining productivity in strict adherence to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Readiness & Briefing: Ensures punctual attendance, impeccable grooming, and overall fitness and legality for assigned flights. Actively participates in pre-flight briefings to confirm flight details, understand role distribution, targets, and security protocols.
- Safety & Emergency Procedures: Instructs passengers on all necessary safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort. Proactively identifies and addresses potential safety and security risks in collaboration with the Cabin Supervisor, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administers first aid as required and promptly reports any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain.
- Exceptional Customer Service: Warmly welcomes passengers and facilitates smooth boarding procedures. Diligently attends to individual passenger needs, pre-bookings, and requests, providing consistent excellent customer service. Offers empathetic support to passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, guided by the Operations Manual and relevant instructions.
- Onboard Revenue & Community Engagement: Contributes to maximizing onboard revenue by effectively promoting and selling meals, products, and duty-free items. Actively supports the “Charity Cloud” program, striving to achieve individual and team sales and donation targets. Manages cash and credit card payments securely and accurately.
- Pre-flight & Post-flight Duties: Conducts thorough pre-flight checks of supplies, emergency equipment, and catering provisions, reporting any deficiencies. Ensures the aircraft cabin is meticulously cleaned at transit stations and adequately re-catered with duty-free products. Facilitates orderly cabin handover/takeover with ground staff. Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports, objectively evaluating the Cabin Supervisor and documenting flight discrepancies. May assume Cabin Supervisor duties when designated by the Captain.
- Professional Development: Maintains a high level of professional and safety knowledge through continuous learning, including recurrent training, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and ensuring a current cabin crew license.
- Team Collaboration: Actively contributes to team success by achieving allocated sales targets and fulfilling collective objectives.
Important Requirements
- Age: Between 20 and 33 years.
- Height: Minimum 160 cm for female candidates, 170 cm for male candidates.
- Weight: To be in proportion to age and height.
- Appearance: Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while in uniform.
- Physical Fitness: Medically and physically fit to perform all Cabin Crew duties.
- Swimming Ability: Capable of swimming with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Possession of a Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required; a Diploma in Travel/Tourism is considered advantageous.
- Health: Demonstrates good general health with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases, certified as fit to fly.
- Certifications (Advantageous): Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Language: Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Work Experience & Attributes
- Experience: Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply. Prior experience as Cabin Crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is highly valued. Possession of an active Cabin Crew license is an advantage.
- Availability: Capable of working flexible shift patterns and extended hours as required by operational demands.
- Adaptability: Exhibits high levels of flexibility and adaptability to frequent operational changes and demanding schedules.
- Accountability: Demonstrates a proven ability to contribute effectively and achieve results in alignment with company policies, procedures, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
