Position Title: Cabin Crew

About the Role:

As a vital ambassador for Air Arabia, the Cabin Crew member is dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image by consistently elevating the overall passenger experience. This role is centered on providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout every phase of the flight cycle. The ideal candidate maintains a high standard of readiness and fitness to operate, ensuring productivity aligns with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain impeccable personal presentation, punctuality, and fitness standards for all assigned flights.
  • Attend pre-flight briefings to confirm understanding of flight details, role distribution, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
  • Guide passengers through essential safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Identify potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Administer first aid to passengers as required.
  • Promptly report any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain as appropriate.
  • Warmly welcome passengers and assist with boarding formalities.
  • Enter necessary data into the aircraft log book in accordance with Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA adopted procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by attending to passengers' individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
  • Identify and provide support to passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to guidelines in the Operations Manual.
  • Actively contribute to achieving on-board sales targets and supporting the "Charity Cloud" program by efficiently promoting on-board products and services.
  • Ensure the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments from sales and donations.
  • Conduct pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other specified equipment before departure, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
  • Assist in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are supplied before subsequent flights.
  • Ensure an orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin with catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
  • Complete post-flight briefings and assessment reports as per company policies, providing objective feedback and reporting discrepancies or issues.
  • Account to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct.
  • Perform Cabin Supervisor duties when designated by the Captain.
  • Maintain professional and safety knowledge through recurrent and emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and ensuring current licenses are valid.
  • Contribute to team success by achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.

Important Requirements:

  • Age between 20 and 33 years.
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male).
  • Weight must be in proportion to age and height.
  • Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
  • Medically and physically fit to perform all Cabin Crew duties.
  • Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications:

  • A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required; a diploma in Travel or Tourism is advantageous.
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is considered an added value.
  • Must be fit to fly, possess good general health, and have no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential.

Work Experience:

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience as Cabin Crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is an added value.
  • An active cabin crew license is considered an advantage.
  • Capability to work varied shift patterns and extended working hours is required.
  • Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
  • Ability to contribute effectively and successfully deliver against established policies, procedures, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
