Cabin Crew Opportunity - Milan, Italy

Air Arabia is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join its cabin crew team. This position is based on a recruitment drive being held in Milan, Italy. Job Purpose

The Cabin Crew member acts as an Air Arabia ambassador, committed to achieving customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. He/She provides exceptional customer service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The ideal candidate maintains readiness and fitness for duty, ensuring productivity aligns with established measures and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct: Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
  • Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort. Identifies safety and security risks, partnering with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administers first aid when necessary. Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
  • Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, entering required data into the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures. Delivers consistently excellent customer service, attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Identifies and supports passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and relevant instructions. Maximizes on-board revenue and supports the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets. Ensures secure handling of cash and credit card payments for individual sales and donations.
  • Crosschecking and Reports: Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure adequate supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other specified equipment. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain. Assists in ensuring thorough cleaning of the aircraft cabin at transit stations and adequate re-catering and duty-free product replenishment. Ensures orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff. Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any flight problems or discrepancies.
  • Accounts to Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct. Executes the duties of ‘Cabin Supervisor’ when designated by the Captain. Maintains professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, and educational workshops, ensuring a current license. Contributes to team success by achieving related results, allocated sales targets, and objectives.

Important Requirements

  • Age: 20 to 33 years
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male)
  • Weight: Proportional to age and height
  • Clear skin, free of visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
  • Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
  • Ability to swim with a flotation device

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (diploma in Travel/Tourism is preferred)
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures (an advantage)
  • Fit to fly, in good general health, with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in written and spoken English

Work Experience

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience as cabin crew or in customer service within the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries (an advantage)
  • Active cabin crew license (an advantage)
  • Ability to work in shifts and for extended hours
  • High flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute and deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
