Cabin Crew - Air Arabia
Air Arabia is seeking motivated and professional individuals to join its team as Cabin Crew. The Cabin Crew member serves as an essential ambassador for the airline, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image at all times. This is achieved by consistently enhancing the overall customer experience. The primary responsibility involves providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the complete flight cycle. Cabin Crew must maintain operational readiness and fitness, ensuring productivity aligns with established standards and company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
The Cabin Crew member performs a diverse range of duties including, but not limited to:
- Ensuring timely attendance, maintaining impeccable grooming, and verifying personal fitness and legality for assigned flights, including participation in pre-flight briefings.
- Instructing passengers on safety procedures and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the flight.
- Identifying safety and security risks and collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administering necessary first aid to passengers.
- Promptly reporting any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain.
- Greeting passengers, assisting with boarding, and accurately logging necessary flight data as per regulatory and company procedures.
- Providing continuous, excellent customer service, addressing individual passenger needs, pre-bookings, and requests.
- Identifying and assisting passengers experiencing stress or difficulties in line with operational manuals and instructions.
- Maximising on-board revenue and contributions to the “Charity Cloud” program through effective promotion of on-board products, meals, and charity services, striving to achieve individual and team targets.
- Ensuring the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for sales and donations.
- Conducting pre-flight checks to confirm sufficient supplies, emergency, catering, and other equipment, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
- Assisting in ensuring thorough cabin cleaning at transit stations and verifying adequate re-catering and duty-free provisions.
- Ensuring orderly handover/takeover of the cabin with ground service staff.
- Completing post-flight briefings and assessment reports, including objective evaluations and reporting flight problems or discrepancies.
- Reporting passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and assuming Cabin Supervisor duties when designated by the Captain.
- Maintaining professional and safety knowledge through regular training, including recurrent and emergency procedures, and ensuring current licenses.
- Contributing to overall team effort and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Candidate Profile:
Prospective candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Age: Between 20 and 33 years.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm for females, 168 cm for males. Weight should be in proportion to age and height.
- Clear skin with no marks or tattoos visible while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Must be medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
- Hold a Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (a Diploma in Travel/Tourism is considered a plus).
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added advantage.
- Must be fit to fly with good general health, free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Previous experience in airline, aviation, or hospitality customer service roles is an added value.
- Possession of an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capability to work in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- Demonstrated high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Ability to contribute effectively and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
