Air Arabia Cabin Crew Position – Austria Recruitment Drive
Air Arabia seeks highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join its cabin crew team. This recruitment drive is specifically for candidates residing in Austria and available for assessments in Vienna. The successful candidate will serve as an Air Arabia ambassador, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for every passenger while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member will provide exceptional customer service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the flight. This role requires adherence to company policies and procedures while maintaining high levels of productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and Preparation: Ensures punctual attendance, adheres to grooming standards, maintains fitness and legal compliance. Actively participates in pre-flight briefings, understanding flight details, assigned roles, targets, and security protocols.
- Safety and Security: Implements and reinforces safety procedures, identifying and addressing potential risks in collaboration with the Cabin Supervisor, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administers first aid as needed and promptly reports any irregularities or malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
- Customer Service Excellence: Provides warm and efficient passenger onboarding assistance, accurately recording relevant data. Meets individual passenger needs and requests, proactively assisting those experiencing stress or difficulties. Actively promotes on-board services, including meals, products, and the "Charity Cloud" program, contributing to revenue generation and achieving sales targets. Handles cash and credit card transactions securely and accurately.
- Operational Efficiency: Conducts thorough pre-flight checks of supplies, equipment, and catering, reporting any deficiencies. Assists in cabin cleaning and re-stocking at transit stations. Ensures smooth handovers to catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff. Completes post-flight reports and assessments, including objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and any flight-related issues. Accounts for passenger conduct and assumes Cabin Supervisor duties when delegated by the Captain.
- Professional Development: Maintains current professional certifications and safety knowledge through ongoing training and workshops.
- Teamwork and Performance: Contributes to team efforts, achieving allocated sales targets and operational objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20-33 years
- Height: Minimum 160cm (Female), 168cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to age and height
- Clear skin, free from visible marks or tattoos while in uniform
- Medically and physically fit for cabin crew duties
- Ability to swim with a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (a Travel/Tourism diploma is preferred).
- First aid, safety, and emergency procedure training (highly desirable).
- Excellent health, free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience as cabin crew, or in customer service within the airline, aviation, or hospitality industries is highly valued.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Adaptable to shift work, extended hours, and frequent schedule changes.
- Strong ability to meet performance targets and adhere to company policies and procedures.
