Cabin Crew Member
Air Arabia is seeking dedicated and customer-focused Cabin Crew Members to join its team. This role serves as an ambassador for Air Arabia, promoting a positive corporate image by delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The Cabin Crew Member maintains readiness and fitness to operate, adhering to company policies and procedures to ensure optimal productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legality for assigned flights.
- Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, roles, targets, and security checks.
- Instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their comfort and security.
- Identifies and reports safety and security risks, partnering with the Cabin Supervisor for remedial action.
- Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft log book.
- Provides excellent customer service by attending to individual passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established policies and procedures.
- Maximizes on-board revenue and promotes the "Charity Cloud" program by efficiently promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments for individual sales and donations.
- Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering equipment, reporting deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided.
- Ensures orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Carries out post-flight briefing and assessment reports, providing objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any problems or discrepancies.
- Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and carries out the duties of ‘Cabin Supervisor’ when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains professional and safety knowledge through recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and educational workshops.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically/physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (Diploma in Travel/Tourism preferred)
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an advantage
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role in the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries is an advantage
- Active cabin crew license is an advantage
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs
