Cabin Crew Member - Austria Recruitment Drive

This position is exclusively for a recruitment drive in Austria, requiring candidates to be available for assessments in Vienna.

The Cabin Crew Member serves as an ambassador for Air Arabia, committed to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image. This individual will enhance the overall customer experience by providing exceptional service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight. The ideal candidate will be prepared and fit for duty, maintaining productivity in accordance with established company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct: Ensures timely attendance, impeccable grooming, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Participates in briefings to acknowledge flight specifics, role assignments, targets, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
  • Safety Measures: Educates passengers on safety regulations, ensuring their well-being and comfort. Identifies potential safety and security hazards, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions as per Standard Operating Procedures. Administers first aid to passengers when required. Reports irregularities and malfunctions promptly to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain.
  • Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and aids with boarding procedures, accurately entering necessary data into the aircraft logbook following Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA protocols. Offers continuous and outstanding service by addressing individual pre-bookings, inquiries, and requirements. Identifies and supports passengers experiencing stress or distress, following operational manuals and relevant instructions. Contributes to maximizing onboard revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program through effective promotion of onboard meals, products, and charity initiatives, meeting individual and team goals. Manages cash and credit card payments securely and accurately.
  • Crosschecking and Reports: Conducts pre-flight checks to confirm sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering provisions; communicates any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain. Assists in maintaining aircraft cleanliness at transit locations, confirming adequate re-catering and duty-free supplies are provided. Ensures a smooth handover of the cabin to catering, cleaning, or maintenance personnel. Completes post-flight briefings and evaluation reports, offering objective appraisals of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting flight issues, and ensuring secure sealing of duty-free containers. Reports passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor; assumes Cabin Supervisor responsibilities when designated by the Captain. Maintains professional and safety expertise through recurrent training, emergency procedure exercises, and educational programs, ensuring license validity. Contributes to team success by achieving performance targets.

Essential Requirements:

  • Age: 20 to 33 years.
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male).
  • Weight: Proportionate to age and height.
  • Clear skin, free from marks or tattoos visible when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
  • Medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties.
  • Proficient in swimming with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is preferred.
  • Fit to fly with good general health, free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Work Experience:

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience as cabin crew or in customer service within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is advantageous.
  • An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Capable of working in shifts and for extended hours.
  • Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to changing and demanding schedules.
  • Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
