The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is currently accepting applications for the 2181 series to support Flight Program Operations. This position serves as part of a unique government organization tasked with critical missions that ensure the safety and integrity of the national airspace system. FAA pilots conduct routine inspections of navigational aids, commission new airport equipment globally, and perform research, development, and test evaluation missions using advanced avionics. Additionally, the team supports critical event response missions for the American public and other government agencies.

Note: To qualify for the FV-J (FG-14) level, applicants must possess an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate and an Airspace Inspection Pilot (ASIP) Credential.
Applicants must provide FAA Form 3330-47-3 (ASIP) to verify flight hours. Qualification is based on the application package and supplemental qualification documentation. Detailed work history is required to support all Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA) claims. All qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
This is a Part 135 certificate-holding organization. Positions may be filled at the FV-I or FV-J level, with promotion potential to the FV-J for those hired at the FV-I level.
