Aviation Job Description: Flight Operations Specialist
This role requires an individual with a proven track record in aviation, demonstrating a commitment to safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of flight operations, including crew assignments, flight planning, and risk mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring Compliance: Guarantee that all crewing and trip assignments adhere to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Flight Planning Expertise: Execute meticulous flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance assessments for each assigned flight.
- Risk Management: Lead pre-flight briefings using the Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) methodology, fostering a proactive approach to mitigating operational risks.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC): 2,000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument Experience: 300 hours
