Global 7500 Second-in-Command

Elevate Jet, a premier aviation company with nearly 30 years of experience in aircraft charter, management, and sales, seeks a highly qualified Second-in-Command for its Global 7500 operations based in Sydney, Australia. This full-time position reports directly to the Chief Pilot within Elevate Jet Australia.

The Second-in-Command is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, adhering strictly to federal regulations and Elevate Jet’s General Operations Manual. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, superior customer service, and a commitment to teamwork and safety within a crew environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct safe and timely flights for private VVIP operations.
Ensure aircraft readiness for all upcoming trips.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with operations.
Maintain all required financial and operational flight records.
Foster a collaborative environment that encourages crew excellence.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Possess a Multi-Engine FAA ATP certification (G7500 Type Rating preferred).
Accumulate a minimum of 2500 hours total flight time.
Possess at least 500 hours of Global Express flight time, ideally in type.
Hold a valid Class 1 medical certificate.
Maintain a clean safety record with no violations, accidents, or incidents.
Be eligible to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to and from Canada.
Comply with ICAO Annex I - 2.1.10 standards for international commercial air transport operations with multi-pilot crews.

Education and Experience:

A college degree is preferred.
Prior corporate flight experience is essential.
Proven international experience in an Ultra Long Range aircraft is required.

Schedule and Travel:

Schedule rotation will vary based on aircraft assignment.
100% travel is required.

Miscellaneous:

Must hold an Australian passport or be a resident with the legal right to work in Australia.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Proof of certain vaccinations may be required.
