About the Role

Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in conducting flights safely and efficiently.

Provide support to the PIC and/or passenger service personnel to ensure prompt departures.

Assist or relieve the PIC in the manipulation of aircraft flight controls during all phases of flight, including taxiing, takeoff, and landing.

Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, based on pilot bidding seniority and operational needs.

Potential domiciles include: Arizona (Phoenix, Tucson), California (Fresno, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, San Diego, San Francisco), Colorado (Colorado Springs, Denver), Georgia (Atlanta), Idaho (Boise), Illinois (Chicago), Minnesota (Minneapolis/St. Paul), Michigan (Detroit), Oregon (Portland), Texas (Austin, Dallas, Houston), Utah (Salt Lake City), Washington (Seattle), Wisconsin (Milwaukee).
Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Hold a valid Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.

Possess an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on Airman Certificate.

Hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Must be a U.S. citizen or legally eligible to work in the U.S. and provide proof of right to work.

Hold an FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.

Possess a current Passport or other travel documents enabling free exit and re-entry to the U.S. (multiple re-entry status).

Must be within three months of meeting the minimum flight hour requirements detailed below.

Pilot applicants are required to meet the experience requirements of FAR 61.159 prior to employment.

For candidates meeting application and interview success criteria, SkyWest Airlines will provide the means to complete a SkyWest-approved CTP (Airline Transport Pilot Certification Training Program) course to satisfy the ATP Written requirement.

SkyWest Airlines recognizes helicopter and glider time; applicants may include this time as part of their total flight time, provided they possess a minimum of 250 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) fixed-wing hours.
