Pilot (First Officer)
SkyWest Airlines is actively seeking highly skilled and dedicated Pilots to join its flight operations as First Officers. Based across numerous US domiciles, this pivotal role involves assisting the Pilot-in-Command in all aspects of flight, contributing to the safe, efficient, and timely operation of flights throughout the SkyWest network.
About the Role

Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in conducting all flights safely and efficiently.

Collaborate with the PIC and/or passenger service personnel to ensure prompt departures.

Assist or relieve the PIC in the manipulation of flight controls, including taxiing, takeoff, and landing of the aircraft.
Qualifications

Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.

Possess an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on the Airman Certificate.

Hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Possess an FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.

Meet the experience requirements of FAR 61.159 prior to employment, or be within three months of meeting these minimum hour requirements at the time of application.

For applicants counting helicopter or glider time, a minimum of 250 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours in fixed-wing aircraft is required.

Successful completion of an ATP Written Exam, with SkyWest providing the means to complete a SkyWest-approved CTP course for those who pass the pilot interview.
Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S. and possess proper working documents.

Hold a current Passport or other travel documents enabling multiple re-entry into the U.S.

Available to work on any day, seven days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Willingness to fly assigned schedules based on pilot bidding seniority.
