SkyWest Airlines seeks qualified First Officers (FO) to join their flight operations team, operating across various domiciles within the United States. This role involves supporting the Pilot in Command (PIC) in ensuring safe and efficient flight operations.
About the Role

Assist the Pilot in Command (PIC) in conducting flights safely and efficiently.

Support the PIC and passenger service personnel to ensure prompt departures.

Manipulate flight controls, including taxiing, takeoff, and landing.
Requirements

Minimum age of 21 years.

Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.

English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on Airman Certificate.

Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

U.S. citizenship or proof of the right to work in the U.S.

FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.

Current passport or other travel documents enabling free exit and re-entry into the U.S. (multiple reentry status).

Legally eligible to work in the U.S. (possess proper working documents).

Availability to work any day of the week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Within three months of meeting minimum hour requirements.

Must meet the experience requirements of FAR 61.159 prior to employment.

SkyWest will provide the means to complete a SkyWest-approved CTP course for qualified applicants.
Pilot Experience

SkyWest accepts helicopter or glider time as part of total flight time, provided the applicant has a minimum of 250 PIC hours of fixed-wing time.
