About the Role

Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in conducting flights safely and efficiently.

Collaborate with the PIC and/or passenger service personnel to ensure prompt departures.

Assist or relieve the PIC in the manipulation of aircraft flight controls while underway, including taxiing, takeoff, and landing.

Pilots must be willing to fly assigned schedules based on seniority bidding, encompassing days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.

Possess an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on the Airman Certificate.

Maintain a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Hold an FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.

Possess a current Passport or other travel documents enabling the bearer to freely exit and re-enter the U.S. (multiple re-entry status).
Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.

Be a U.S. citizen or legally eligible to work in the U.S. (possess proper working documents).

Meet the experience requirements of FAR 61.159 prior to employment.

Applicants may be within three months of meeting the minimum hour requirements for the position.

For those counting helicopter or glider time towards total flight hours, a minimum of 250 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours in fixed-wing aircraft is required.

Must be available to work on any day, seven days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

SkyWest Airlines will provide the means to complete a SkyWest-approved CTP course for pilot applicants who successfully complete an application and pass the interview.
