SkyWest Airlines is seeking highly motivated and qualified Pilots to join their team across various U.S. domiciles. This crucial role involves assisting the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in the safe and efficient operation of flights, contributing to prompt departures, and ensuring an exceptional experience for passengers.

About the Role

• Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in conducting flights safely and efficiently.
• Support the PIC and/or passenger service personnel to ensure prompt departures.
• Assist or relieve the PIC in the manipulation of aircraft flight controls while underway, including taxiing, takeoff, and landing.
• Willingness to fly assigned schedules based on pilot bidding seniority, encompassing days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Availability to work any day, seven days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Hold a current Passport or other travel documents enabling free exit and re-entry to the U.S. (multiple re-entry status).
• Possess an FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.
• Meet the experience requirements of FAR 61.159 prior to employment.
• Be within three months of meeting minimum flight hour requirements.
• For applicants counting helicopter or glider time, a minimum of 250 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours of fixed-wing flight time is required.
• Successful applicants will receive support from SkyWest Airlines to complete a SkyWest-approved CTP (Certification Training Program) course to fulfill the ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) Written requirement.

Qualifications

• Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.
• Possess an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on their Airman Certificate.
• Hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
