SkyWest Airlines is seeking highly motivated and qualified Pilots to join their team across various U.S. domiciles. This crucial role involves assisting the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in the safe and efficient operation of flights, contributing to prompt departures, and ensuring an exceptional experience for passengers.
About the Role

Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in conducting flights safely and efficiently.

Support the PIC and/or passenger service personnel to ensure prompt departures.

Assist or relieve the PIC in the manipulation of aircraft flight controls while underway, including taxiing, takeoff, and landing.

Willingness to fly assigned schedules based on pilot bidding seniority, encompassing days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Availability to work any day, seven days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.

Be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Hold a current Passport or other travel documents enabling free exit and re-entry to the U.S. (multiple re-entry status).

Possess an FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.

Meet the experience requirements of FAR 61.159 prior to employment.

Be within three months of meeting minimum flight hour requirements.

For applicants counting helicopter or glider time, a minimum of 250 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours of fixed-wing flight time is required.

Successful applicants will receive support from SkyWest Airlines to complete a SkyWest-approved CTP (Certification Training Program) course to fulfill the ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) Written requirement.
Qualifications

Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.

Possess an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE) on their Airman Certificate.

Hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
