The Role:
Eastern Airlines is seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to join our team as Flight Attendants. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our valued passengers. You will be joining a dynamic and fast-paced environment where teamwork and a positive attitude are essential for success.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in preflight briefings, safety demonstrations, and aircraft preparation.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the flight, including greeting passengers, assisting with baggage, and responding to inquiries.
- Ensure the availability and proper delivery of food, beverages, and other supplies.
- Enforce federal regulations and safety procedures, conducting pre-flight and landing checks.
- Remain calm and collected during in-flight emergencies, providing guidance to passengers and administering first aid when necessary.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
- Maintain a professional and polished appearance, adhering to Eastern Airlines' uniform and grooming standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Authorization to work in the United States and a valid US Passport (not expiring within 6 months).
- Ability to travel to Canada and maintain valid travel documents for international destinations.
- Availability to work a minimum of 20 days per month, including weekends, holidays, and extended periods away from base.
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Proven customer service experience, with hospitality or retail background preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, reach, lift, stretch, and bend for extended periods (up to 14 hours or more).
- Must be able to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Must successfully complete Initial Flight Attendant training and Operational Experience.
- Must pass a pre-employment DOT drug test, drug and alcohol checks, and a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC).
- Must own and maintain a personal cell phone.
- No visible tattoos or body piercings allowed while on duty (no exceptions).
