Contour Airlines, a well-established aviation services company, seeks a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join their team as a full-time Flight Attendant in Charlotte, NC. This role offers a salary ranging from $34,000.00 to $42,564.91 annually, commensurate with performance and tenure.

The Flight Attendant is responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers, adhering to established standards, policies, and Federal Aviation Administration regulations. This involves providing exemplary customer service, attending to passengers needing assistance, preparing and serving refreshments, and responding effectively during emergency situations. They must be prepared to assist with luggage stowage, perform safety demonstrations, and provide emergency medical assistance when required. The role also includes maintaining cabin appearance, completing necessary reports, and adhering to all operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform work duties in an aircraft environment.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of all customers.
  • Provide exemplary customer service, exceeding expectations.
  • Assist with lifting and stowing luggage.
  • Attend to individuals needing assistance.
  • Prepare and serve refreshments.
  • Maintain professional appearance.
  • Respond to emergencies following flight deck instructions.
  • Provide emergency medical assistance as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Make public address announcements and complete safety demonstrations.
  • Complete paperwork and detailed reports.
  • Maintain the aircraft's cabin, galley, and lavatory.
  • Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes.
  • Comply with additional tasks assigned by management or the Pilot-in-Command.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 23 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or GED certificate required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and travel in and out of the country.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Valid passport.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English. Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
  • Ability to pass a DOT required pre-employment drug screen and random drug and alcohol testing.
  • Successfully pass a 10-year work history review, criminal background, and fingerprint checks.
  • Ability to complete Contour's four-week Flight Attendant Initial Training Program.
  • Adaptable to a rotating schedule with up to 16-hour duty days.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Possess a customer-oriented mindset with professional interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with diverse personalities.
  • Capability to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle interruptions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to working safely and adhering to all regulations.
  • Must reside within one hour of the assigned domicile.
