Corporate Flight Management / Contour Airlines | Flight Attendant

Contour Airlines, a well-established aviation services company, seeks a dedicated individual to join their team as a full-time Cabin Attendant based in White Plains, NY (HPN). This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $42,000.00 to $52,452.24 annually, commensurate with performance and tenure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers, providing exemplary customer service, and maintaining the aircraft cabin. Responsibilities include performing work duties in the aircraft environment according to established standards and regulations, including FAA guidelines. The Cabin Attendant must be proficient in using all galley/cabin service equipment and in-flight entertainment systems. They will work both independently and collaboratively to accomplish tasks, assisting with luggage, attending to individuals needing assistance, and preparing and serving meals and beverages. Maintaining a professional appearance and a positive attitude is essential. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and potential for extended periods away from home. The Cabin Attendant will also be expected to manage time effectively to ensure punctuality and complete work assignments. The role involves frequent walking, bending, and reaching.

Specific duties also include responding effectively during emergency situations, guiding passengers during evacuations, providing emergency medical assistance, ensuring aircraft and passenger compliance with policies and procedures, delivering clear public address announcements and safety demonstrations, and being able to open emergency exits and close aircraft doors weighing up to 60 pounds. They also play a crucial role in restocking the galley, ordering catering items, and ensuring food items meet safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age of 23 years.
• Authorization to work and travel within the United States.
• Three years of corporate Cabin Attendant experience or prior experience as a Flight Attendant.
• Valid passport is required.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and adherence to DOT mandated random drug and alcohol testing.
• Ability to pass a 10-year work history review and criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Successful completion of Contour Airlines' four-week Flight Attendant Initial Training Program and Initial Operating Experience.
• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. Bilingualism is preferred.
• Residency within one hour of the assigned base in White Plains, NY.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
