As a Flight Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers while delivering an exceptional travel experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a secure and comfortable cabin environment, adhering to all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and company procedures.
- Providing exemplary customer service, exceeding passenger expectations throughout the flight.
- Assisting passengers with luggage, including lifting and stowing items in overhead bins.
- Offering attentive care to passengers requiring additional assistance, such as unaccompanied minors, individuals with disabilities, and senior citizens.
- Preparing and serving meals, snacks, and beverages with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintaining a professional appearance in accordance with company standards.
- Responding effectively to emergency situations, following crew instructions and safety procedures.
- Providing clear and calm guidance to passengers during emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Administering basic first aid and CPR when necessary.
- Conducting pre-flight safety demonstrations and delivering clear onboard announcements.
- Maintaining accurate records and completing incident reports as required.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and order of the aircraft cabin, galley, and lavatory.
- Demonstrating a proactive and safety-conscious approach in all aspects of the role.
To excel in this role, you possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum age of 23 years.
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States and the ability to travel internationally.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Valid passport.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken). Bilingual ability is a plus.
- Ability to pass a DOT-required pre-employment drug screening and comply with random drug and alcohol testing.
- Ability to clear a 10-year work history review, criminal background check, and fingerprint check.
- Successful completion of Contour's four-week Flight Attendant Initial Training Program.
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended duty days (up to 16 hours).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating a positive attitude, customer-centric mindset, and professional demeanor.
- Strong leadership qualities, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage interruptions calmly, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to inspire others.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) delivered with tact and professionalism.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, state, and federal guidelines.
- Residence within one hour of the assigned domicile.
