Flight Attendant
ConocoPhillips, a leading independent exploration and production company with significant aviation operations supporting its activities in Alaska, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Flight Attendant. This position is based in Anchorage, Alaska, within the company's corporate aviation department.
The Flight Attendant serves as a crucial member of the flight crew, primarily responsible for the safety, comfort, and professional service of passengers aboard company aircraft. The role requires assuming complete charge of the aircraft cabin and passengers during all phases of flight, including normal operations, abnormal situations, and emergencies. This individual ensures that all passengers receive a safe, efficient, and effective travel experience in accordance with the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Championing and maintaining the company's rigorous safety culture and operational standards.
- Participating actively in pre-flight briefings, aircraft inspections, and cabin preparation procedures.
- Verifying the operational readiness of all onboard safety equipment.
- Conducting comprehensive passenger safety briefings in strict adherence to applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (such as FAR 125.327) and company policies.
- Ensuring passenger compliance with all relevant Federal Aviation Regulations, company guidelines, and directives from specified agencies.
- Communicating effectively and professionally with a diverse group of passengers and crew members.
- Managing in-flight passenger service, including the preparation and serving of beverages and snacks.
- Operating efficiently within the confined space of the aircraft cabin for extended periods, often requiring standing.
- Performing necessary physical duties, including the use of hands and feet and the regular lifting and carrying of items up to 30 lbs.
- Directing and assisting passengers and crew members in managing abnormal situations, emergencies, or medical events that may occur during flight.
- Remaining with the aircraft during the post-flight period to assist with standard securing procedures.
- Attending and successfully completing all prescribed ongoing training programs to maintain the highest possible degree of proficiency.
- Understanding and strictly adhering to aircraft and ground security protocols.
- Undertaking additional non-flight related duties as assigned by the Corporate Aviation department.

Required Qualifications:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possesses a minimum of five years of professional flight attendant experience obtained within the previous seven years.
- Demonstrates proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to effectively complete all required paperwork and essential communications.
- Must be willing and available to work a flexible schedule, including all days of the week, evenings, holidays, and weekends, in addition to unscheduled overtime as necessary to meet specific flight schedules and address delays.
- Must be willing and able to safely perform strenuous physical activity, such as lifting, bending, carrying objects, and climbing ladders or stairs, on a regular basis, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must reside within a 90-minute driving distance of the ConocoPhillips Aviation Hangar in Anchorage, AK.
- This position is classified as Safety Sensitive and requires participation in DOT and corporate drug testing programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- An Associate's degree or higher in Hospitality, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or a related field, or foreign equivalent.
