Captain - Gulfstream G500 (Part 91)
Overview
Clay Lacy Aviation is seeking an exceptional Captain to join its elite team of pilots. Renowned for maintaining the highest operational standards, the company employs a rigorous evaluation process to ensure procedural excellence and situational awareness. This full-time Captain position is for a Part 91 Gulfstream G500 aircraft based in Reno, Nevada. The operation involves approximately 200 flight hours annually.
While a Gulfstream GVII type rating is preferred, highly qualified PIC candidates without the specific type rating will be considered. Candidates must currently reside, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour drivable commute of Reno, NV; this is not a commutable position.
The annual compensation for this role ranges from $280,000 to $310,000, accompanied by fully paid medical and healthcare premiums.
Qualifications
Prospective Captains must meet the following requirements:
- Possess a minimum of 3,500 hours of total flight time.
- Hold at least 2,000 hours of Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
- Accumulate a minimum of 1,000 hours of Turbine time.
- Hold an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- A Gulfstream GVII Type Certification with at least 200 hours in type is preferred; however, consideration will be given to PIC candidates demonstrating strong relevant experience.
- Must reside within a two-hour drivable commute of Reno, NV, or be willing to relocate to meet this requirement. This position does not support commuting.
- Maintain an unrestricted ability to travel internationally.
- Ensure full compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), the company operations manual, operations specifications, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and company policies and procedures.
- Successfully pass DOT/FAA drug screenings and background checks, and be available for random drug/alcohol testing as required.
- Provide full, legible, color copies of all FAA certificates (front and back), including Medical certificates, and complete a disclosure form as part of the application process.
- Be prepared to perform additional duties as assigned.
