Clay Lacy Aviation seeks a highly qualified Captain for a full-time position based in Tacoma, Washington, operating a Challenger 300 under Part 91/135 regulations. This role requires a Challenger 300 type rating and a minimum of 200 hours in type. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, adhering to all FAA regulations and company policies.
This position offers an attractive compensation package, with a salary range of $235,000 to $240,000, alongside fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, a matching 401(k) plan, paid vacation, sick time, holidays, and other comprehensive benefits. The estimated annual flight time for this position is approximately 300 hours.
Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of 3,500 hours of total flight time, including 2,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) and 1,000 hours of turbine time. An Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate is mandatory. Candidates should ideally reside within a two-hour drivable commute of Tacoma, WA, however, those willing to relocate or with a reasonable commute may be considered. Relocating candidates should indicate their intent and estimated timeframe on their resume or cover letter. Applicants must have the unrestricted ability to travel to EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
Further requirements include strict adherence to the company's Safety Management System (SMS) and compliance with all DOT/FAA drug and alcohol regulations. Pre-employment drug screening and background checks are mandatory, and random testing may occur. Full, legible copies of all FAA certificates, including the medical certificate, and a completed disclosure form, are required as part of the application process.
