Cabin Crew Development Executive (Contract)
The Cabin Crew Development Executive, reporting to the Cabin Crew Development Executive, is a key member of the Inflight Service Delivery Department. He or she will evaluate instances of potential non-adherence to company standards, policies, and procedures, and propose appropriate development actions. This individual conducts independent, thorough, and fair investigations and analyses into cases potentially requiring disciplinary action, proposing resolutions and addressing concerns with crew members in a positive and encouraging manner to reduce recurrence.
This is a 13-month contract position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Conduct thorough investigations into cases related to noncompliance, violations, or breaches of company policies, ensuring that fact-finding processes are consistent, timely, and aligned with relevant policies and procedures.
- Manage crew members fairly, sensitively, and credibly through the resolution process, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, standards, and legislative requirements.
- Document all cases in a detailed and thorough manner, ensuring that interview records are sent to crew and filed appropriately.
- Make recommendations for disciplinary action to Service Excellence Managers where applicable, and communicate disciplinary decisions to cabin crew to reinforce required performance standards in a fair, positive, and encouraging manner.
- Other Responsibilities: Support the review of relevant internal policies and help conduct trend analysis, highlighting areas of concern or improvement to management.
- Encourage cabin crew to improve performance and coach them on company policies, expectations, and the importance of adhering to policy at all times.
- Represent the company in labor court in case of disputes over disciplinary cases.
- Assist in other ad hoc tasks such as E&A, projects, etc., as required by the Assistant Manager Cabin Crew Development.
- Ensure cases are resolved in a timely manner, meeting internal targets for case turnaround times.
- Deputize for the Assistant Manager Cabin Crew Development during absences.
Requirements:
- Strong fact-finding, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English; proficiency in a local language is advantageous.
- Good interpersonal and coaching skills.
- Mature individual with high emotional intelligence.
- Ability to foster good working relationships with other operational departments.
- Good understanding of cabin crew working conditions and culture.
- Methodical and detail-oriented approach.
- Case management experience is an advantage.
- Tertiary education or above.
- Candidate with cabin crew operational environment and culture experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant legislative ordinances.
