StarLux Airlines seeks passionate and dedicated individuals to join their esteemed team as Cabin Crew members. This role offers the opportunity to deliver a refined, high-quality service experience, characterized by both outward elegance and inner meticulousness.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Must possess citizenship of the Republic of China.
  • Must hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a domestic or foreign university recognized by the Ministry of Education.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in English, evidenced by one of the following valid test scores:
    • TOEIC: 600 or above
    • BULATS: 45 or above
    • TOEFL iBT: 64 or above
    • TOEFL ITP: 480 or above
    • IELTS: 4.5 or above
    • Linguaskill: 145 or above
    • Note: The above English proficiency tests are for general listening and reading comprehension. Scores do not have an expiration date; however, the most recent results are preferred. If English proficiency test scores are not available before application, the original copy of a valid score certificate must be presented on the day of the on-site assessment, or the application will be considered incomplete.
  • Must be able to reach a height of 210 cm with both hands extended upward (required for cabin safety duties).
  • Must have uncorrected visual acuity of 0.1 or better in each eye, correctable to 1.0 or better with contact lenses.
  • Basic conversational proficiency in Vietnamese is advantageous. Please specify the level of Vietnamese proficiency on the resume.

Application Process:

  • Applications are exclusively accepted online through the StarLux Airlines careers website and through the submission of a resume via 104 Job Bank.
  • Applicants must ensure that their personal information and photo are updated prior to submitting their resume.
  • A video must be attached to the 104 Job Bank resume in the “attachments” section. Instructions for the video are as follows:
    • The video should include a 30-second self-introduction in both Chinese and English. Time limits must be strictly followed.
    • The video should be a close-up of the applicant from the head to chest, with the face directly facing the camera. Please ensure proper lighting and video quality.
    • Upload the video to YouTube and provide the link in the attachments section.
    • The video’s privacy setting must be "unlisted" and not "private". If the video cannot be viewed during the review process, the application will be considered invalid.
    • The video file name should include the applicant’s full Chinese name followed by the last four digits of their ID card number (e.g., 王小明6789).

Assessment Notification:

  • Candidates whose resumes meet the assessment criteria will receive a notification from the company.
  • Assessment date: As per notification from the company.
  • On-site Assessment location: No. 1, Hangxiang Road, Dayuan District, Taoyuan City (StarLux Airlines Operations Center).

Documents Required for On-site Assessment:

  • Original Republic of China National Identification Card.
  • Original highest educational diploma or certificate (if foreign, it must be authenticated).
  • Original English proficiency test score certificate (no expiry date, but recent results are recommended).
  • Original military discharge certificate or exemption certificate. Active military personnel must provide the original military ID card.
  • Original cabin crew experience certificate (for applicants with prior cabin crew experience, please provide a service or employment certificate, including dates of employment).
  • Original "Personal Information and Image Rights Consent Form" with the applicant's signature (an electronic file will be provided for download with the assessment notification).
  • All original documents except for the "Personal Information and Image Rights Consent Form" will be returned after verification. Complete documentation must be provided at registration, or the assessment eligibility will be forfeited.

Assessment Process:

Online Application > On-site Assessment > Self-Funded Health Examination > Employment Conditions and Onboarding Notification

  • On-site Assessment: Candidates whose resumes pass the initial review will receive an invitation to the on-site first round assessment. All specified documents must be presented for on-site verification. The assessment will include an interview, a written test, and an explanation of Article 84-1 of the Labor Standards Act.
  • Self-Funded Health Examination: Candidates who pass the assessment will be notified to complete a required health examination at a designated hospital at their own expense.
  • Onboarding Notification: StarLux will review the results of the assessment and completeness of documents and will notify successful candidates for onboarding on a rolling basis. A pre-employment orientation will be held before onboarding.

Important Notes:

  • Candidates not meeting the aforementioned qualifications should not apply for this position.
  • Applicants for the “Cabin Crew” position should not apply for other cabin crew positions. Duplicate applications will be considered a withdrawal of application.

  • StarLux Airlines Cabin Crew members are required to use iOS operating system applications during training and work for receiving and transmitting work-related information. Students must provide their own smart devices and mobile internet that meet the operating system's specifications.
  • Successful candidates must sign a training and employment contract with the company as well as an agreement under Article 84-1 of the Labor Standards Act, and must serve a minimum of three years from the day following the completion of training.
  • Trainees who do not meet the company's performance standards or do not pass probation will have their training terminated and their probation stopped.
  • StarLux Airlines has not partnered with any cram schools or institutions for recruitment and will not use non-official communication channels such as Line, Facebook, or WeChat to request personal information or collect fees. To protect job seekers' interests, please be vigilant.
