Cabin Crew Career Talent & Development Executive (1-Year Contract)
Cathay Pacific is seeking a dedicated and driven individual to join their Inflight Service Delivery team as a Cabin Crew Career Talent & Development Executive on a one-year contract based in Hong Kong.
Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Cabin Crew Career Development, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape the career trajectories of Cathay Pacific's esteemed cabin crew. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing career development strategies, overseeing promotion and retirement age extension processes, and fostering a culture of growth and engagement within the cabin crew community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the execution of the Cabin Crew Career Development strategy, including:
- Managing selection processes for promotions and progressions
- Developing compelling job advertisements
- Defining promotion criteria
- Conducting candidate screening, selection, and offer extensions
- Coordinating training roster arrangements
- Oversee the promotion assessment and retirement age extension (RAE) process, including:
- Liaising with stakeholders across departments
- Preparing and conducting informative briefings
- Designing and implementing a streamlined activity schedule
- Participating in panel interviews
- Consolidating and announcing results
- Design and implement effective assessment tools and systems for progression, promotion, and RAE selections.
- Actively participate in role plays and panel interviews for progression, promotion, and RAE assessments.
- Collaborate with managers to continuously review and enhance promotion and RAE processes, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies.
- Manage and maintain recruitment-related technology platforms (HireVue, Cut-E, Learning HUB, etc.).
- Oversee roster arrangements for secondees, progression, and promotion training.
- Support the digitalization of workflow processes to enhance efficiency.
- Provide guidance and support to the Cabin Crew Career Development Officer in their administrative duties.
- Act as a deputy for the Assistant Manager, Cabin Crew Career Development, providing support and coverage when needed.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects as assigned by the Assistant Manager, Cabin Crew Career Development.
Requirements:
- Tertiary education.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service-oriented role, showcasing a strong commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
- A solid understanding of cabin crew culture and dynamics.
- Prior experience in HR, talent acquisition, or cabin crew roles is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with recruitment platforms and technologies is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Cantonese, encompassing both written and verbal proficiency.
- Strong influencing and relationship management abilities, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and consistently meet deadlines.
- A proactive and driven approach, meticulous attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional results.
