Role Purpose
- Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Cabin Crew, the Cabin Crew Team Leader is entrusted with the performance and people management of a dedicated Flight Attendant (FA) team.
- This role carries accountability for the team's overall performance, actively managing and leading team members, with a specific focus on coaching new joiners to ensure full compliance with all service and safety standards.
- The Team Leader conducts monthly Team Flying duties with their assigned team, facilitating regular meetings to provide coaching and follow up on relevant issues.
- A key responsibility is to actively engage, motivate, and cultivate a strong team spirit, including conducting individual meetings with each team member at least once annually.
- The role requires providing feedback to the Assistant Manager, Cabin Crew, and the wider Cabin Crew Management Team regarding team performance, potential promotion recommendations, and development opportunities.
- The Team Leader is also responsible for effectively disseminating company information to the team and undertaking any assigned ad-hoc projects or related support duties.
- The position involves performing both flying duties and designated ground duties, typically including one day of office duty per month.
The Ideal Candidate
- The successful candidate will possess a minimum of one year of working experience within the aviation industry, preferably with prior supervisory experience.
- At least two years of flying experience with HK Express is highly desirable.
- The individual should demonstrate a clear ability to inspire, build trust, and earn respect within the cabin crew community.
- Essential attributes include the capacity to effectively coach, motivate, and develop others.
- The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively, and the capability to perform well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
