About the Role
The company is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Chief Pilot to lead its flight operations. Key Responsibilities
- Leads and supervises all flight crew members, providing essential training, guidance, and performance oversight.
- Maintains and enforces robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations.
- Ensures all flight operations adhere strictly to FAA regulations, company policies, and industry-leading safety standards.
- Actively participates in flight duties on a regular basis, encompassing both domestic and international operations.
- Coordinates pilot scheduling, manages duty time limitations, and ensures optimal flight readiness.
- Evaluates and mentors pilots, fostering professional growth and continuous regulatory compliance.
- Assists in the strategic management of aviation department expenditures and proactively identifies cost-saving opportunities.
- Supports comprehensive maintenance oversight, including inspections and audits, in close coordination with maintenance personnel and external vendors.
- Maintains meticulous operational records and ensures timely and accurate documentation of training, flight hours, and certifications.
- Collaborates effectively with leadership to define departmental goals and spearhead safety initiatives.
- Promotes a strong culture of teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional customer service throughout the department.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10,000 total flight hours, including:
- 5,000 hours in turbine aircraft
- 5,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC)
- Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
- Possession of a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate and a Commercial Pilot Certificate.
- Type rating in Challenger 604 aircraft is highly preferred.
- Extensive experience in both domestic and international flight operations.
- A minimum of five years of experience in corporate aviation.
- Demonstrated exceptional leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Profound understanding of FAA regulations, Safety Management Systems (SMS) programs, and aviation industry best practices.
- A professional, discreet, and highly service-oriented demeanor.
- Proven ability to adapt seamlessly in dynamic situations and maintain composure under pressure.
- Possession of a valid, unrestricted passport for international travel.

Physical & Travel Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods and perform all physical duties associated with operating aircraft.

- Frequent travel, up to 75%, including extensive international destinations.
