Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Provides strategic leadership and direct supervision to all flight crew members, encompassing training, professional guidance, and performance oversight.
- Establishes, maintains, and rigorously enforces Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to guarantee safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations.
- Ensures all flights are conducted in strict adherence to FAA regulations, company policies, and industry safety standards, including Safety Management Systems (SMS) protocols.
- Routinely participates in flight duties, which include both complex domestic and international operations.
- Coordinates meticulous pilot scheduling, manages duty time limitations in accordance with regulations, and ensures comprehensive flight readiness.
- Evaluates, mentors, and develops pilots to promote continuous professional growth and sustained regulatory compliance.
- Assists in the strategic management of aviation department expenditures and proactively identifies opportunities for cost optimization without compromising safety or quality.
- Supports comprehensive maintenance oversight, including detailed inspections and audits, in close collaboration with internal maintenance personnel and external vendors.
- Maintains meticulous operational records, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of training, flight hours, and certifications.
- Collaborates effectively with senior leadership to define departmental objectives, develop strategic plans, and implement proactive safety initiatives.
- Cultivates a robust culture of teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional customer service within the flight department.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 10,000 total flight hours, including:
- 5,000 hours in turbine aircraft.
- 5,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Possession of a current, valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate and a Commercial Pilot Certificate.
- Current type rating in Challenger 604 is highly preferred.
- Extensive and demonstrated experience in both domestic and international aviation operations.
- A minimum of 5 years of corporate aviation experience.
- Proven track record of strong leadership, mentorship, and team management capabilities.
- Profound understanding of FAA regulations, Safety Management Systems (SMS) programs, and aviation industry best practices.
- Exhibits a professional, discreet, and service-oriented demeanor suitable for executive aviation.
- Proven ability to adapt effectively in dynamic situations and maintain composure and sound judgment under pressure.
- Possession of a valid, unrestricted passport, essential for international travel.
