About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for experienced pilots seeking a career transition into aviation instruction. Candidates will join an elite team of Simulator and Ground School Instructors, focusing on the Bombardier Global and Challenger business jet platforms. Multiple full-time Instructor Pilot positions are available at CAE's Montreal Training Centre. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality flight simulation and ground school instruction for Bombardier Global and Challenger aircraft.
  • Ensure all training meets stringent regulatory standards and CAE's commitment to excellence.
  • Cultivate pilot confidence and mastery through effective communication and pedagogical techniques.
  • Inspire trust and provide guidance during simulator sessions and pre-flight briefings.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of training programs and methodologies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Possession of an unrestricted Transport Canada ATPL.
  • Ability to obtain an FAA ATP (requires a Category 1 medical for initial issuance).
  • A minimum of 1500 hours of multi-crew flight experience.
  • Demonstrated passion for teaching, supported by strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office and internet-based programs.
  • Experience flying business aircraft is considered an asset.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/French) is preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to live and work in Canada.
