Job Title: Air Weapons Systems Instructor (CF-18)

Role Overview
As an aircraft maintenance instructor and weapons expert, the successful candidate will provide specialized entry-level training for the CF-18 platform. This role involves delivering both theoretical classroom instruction and practical, hands-on training to students, ensuring the highest standards of maintenance expertise.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver theoretical and hands-on training regarding CF-18 operating principles and maintenance tasks.

Provide expert instruction and mentoring in Aircraft Maintenance Support Equipment (AMSE), suspension and release equipment, and weapon systems and guns.

Maintain accurate documentation, including inspection sheets, forms, sets, and logs.

Update and maintain training materials, including ITFCs and work processes.

Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and flight safety regulations, as well as established work instructions and process specifications.

Adhere to all tooling control regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

Collaborate with Lead Instructors, Team Leaders, and Supervisors to meet organizational objectives.

Participate in required training and information sessions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

College or high school diploma (or equivalent).

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in CF-18 maintenance.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and the Windows environment.

Knowledge of SAP software.

Bilingual proficiency (French and English) in both verbal and written communication is required due to contractual obligations.

Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service capabilities.

Experience in quality control is considered an asset.
Mandatory Eligibility Criteria

Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program.

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2 / NATO Secret security clearance.

Must be eligible to meet U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements.
