Role Overview

The Aviation Instructor is responsible for delivering expert instruction in both simulator and ground school environments. The successful candidate will foster a collaborative learning environment, leveraging advanced simulation technology to provide high-quality training that adheres to Transport Canada, FAA, and CAE standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality simulator and ground school instruction.
  • Prepare and conduct thorough briefings and debriefings.
  • Ensure all training activities align with Transport Canada, FAA, and CAE regulatory standards.
  • Maintain professional qualifications and participate in continuous professional development.
  • Share aviation expertise to contribute to a collaborative and innovative learning environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Unrestricted Transport Canada Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with the ability to obtain an FAA ATP (requires Category 3 medical for initial issuance).
  • Demonstrated passion for instruction supported by excellent communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office and internet-based programs.
  • Must be legally authorized to live and work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating business aircraft.
  • 1,500 hours of multi-crew flight experience.
