CAE is seeking a dedicated and skilled Military Pilot Instructor to join its team. The successful candidate will operate in a dynamic work environment, utilizing state-of-the-art tools and collaborating with experts across various sectors. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects within a world-class, industry-leading company.
Responsibilities include:
- Working autonomously to address a broad scope of customer requirements.
- Effectively delivering oral presentations to management and customers.
- Working independently and directing subordinates.
- Delivering synthetic environment training using flight simulators and other tools.
- Contributing to the development of teaching aids and courseware.
- Ensuring training delivered is consistent with training objectives and teaching points outlined in the training plan, adhering to applicable training standards.
- Reporting student progress, identifying issues, and documenting deficiencies relative to course delivery.
- Ability to travel and work overtime when required.
Mandatory Qualifications include:
- Experience as a military pilot.
- Previous Military flying instructional experience.
- Formal training in Instructional Techniques.
- Eligibility to work in Canada as a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident, or with a valid Work Permit.
- Capability to obtain and maintain both Controlled Goods Clearance and a Government of Canada security clearance.
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- Verbal French language skills for instruction in French.
- Experience as a search and rescue pilot.
- Experience as a multi-engine fixed-wing pilot.
- Experience with authoring and amending multi-media instructional courseware.
- Familiarity with quality standards, training plans, and training media used to ensure teaching points are met per Training Standards.
- Airbus 295 aircraft experience.
