Role and Responsibilities
The EASA OPS Training Manager reports to the Head of Training and is responsible for operator specific customized training solutions.
The role can be performed in any of the major CAE Civil locations within the European Union / Schengen or UK.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
+ As agreed with Hot, Director Operations and Director Sales, build and ensure a solid relationship with key customers
+ Partner with the Sales Team to assist with potential client needs
+ Project manage major customized training solutions
+ Support sales in training solution offerings
+ Specify customer specific training offerings in support of Sales cost of delivery calculation and training designs course specification
+ Support the course ware team in the course ware development
+ Implement customized training solutions into the training centers
+ Train the trainers
+ Collect feed-back and in dialogue with the customer suggest revisions, updates and course improvements
+ Support the customers in the approval process of the developed training solution
+ Support the customer in describing the training solution in the customers OM-D
Qualifications and skills
+ Strong leadership and managerial capabilities
+ Strong business acumen with a focus on the financials and cost saving initiatives
+ Profound knowledge of EASA regulations FCL and OPS
+ Demonstrates energy & the ability to energize & invigorate others
+ Exhibits a passion for excellence & consistently follows through on commitments
+ Strong focus on quality improvement with a continuous drive towards process improvement, customer satisfaction and compliance
+ Focused on team accomplishments & demonstrates the self – confidence to empower others to accomplish tasks
+ Results orientation & a proven ability to meet deadlines
+ Fluent English language skills (verbal and in writing), knowledge of the local language preferred
+ Proficient in the standard Microsoft Office suite as needed (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Education
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or relevant experience
+ Appropriate Pilot license (unless locally arranged otherwise and agreed upon with authorities)
Experience
+ +7 years experience in the flight simulation and/or aviation training industry.
+ Past experience as a Manager in the flight simulation and/or aviation training industry that includes supervision of active pilot training.
+ Past experience providing customer service with a proven record of success.
+ Demonstrated experience with Regulatory Authorities
