About the role:

Pilots are responsible for the safe conduct of flights to which they are assigned. Pilots report directly to Director of Flight Operations. Pilots must ensure compliance with all Federal, state, local and foreign regulations, as well as the policies and procedures specified in the company operations manual. The individual should be prepared to assume additional aviation related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Director of Flight Operations.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Act as Second-in-Command in support of the Captain scheduled flights
  • Maintain proper certifications and qualifications according to governmental and Company regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers
  • Comply with schedules, and other directives governing the aircraft's operation
  • Ensure that preflight inspections are performed
  • Study weather conditions at departure, enroute, destination and alternate airports
  • Ensure that the aircraft is clean and prepared for flight with all provisions on board for the safety and comfort of the passengers
  • Assist in loading of passengers, baggage and freight; determine that aircraft performance data and weight and balance are within certified limits
  • Perform any duties necessary for the smooth, safe and efficient operation of the aircraft
  • Contribute toward decisions necessary to start, delay, or cancel flights and deviate the flight from planned route or destination when operating conditions dictate
  • Assist with servicing, storing and proper care and protection of Company aircraft and equipment while away from home base; conduct post-flight inspection of aircraft; and report malfunction and operating data to the maintenance department when requested by the Captain.
  • Complete and file FAA/Company records and reports, aircraft and flight reports, if requested by the Captain; and maintain personal flight log and records.

What we’re looking for in you:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree: Bachelor’s preferred
  • Certifications: Airline Transport Pilot Certificate/Multi-engine land
  • Type Rating in present company aircraft preferred. Valid FAA First Class Medical
  • Valid US Passport
  • International experience or completed international initial training preferred.
  • Within the previous 12 months, has passed a Pilot in Command/Instrument competency check or able do so once hired
  • Looking for a teammate with strong interpersonal/communication skills, a lifelong learner, adaptable to schedule changes and life on the road, great with passengers, and is committed to safety
