Bombardier is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pilot Captain to join their team in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. This role, dated December 27, 2024, offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, build, and maintenance of world-class aircraft. The Pilot Captain will be responsible for conducting production ground and flight tests to validate aircraft airworthiness, performing demonstration flights for potential customers, executing customer acceptance and ferry flights, and carrying out pre- and post-flight activities. The position may require weekend work and support of the Bombardier Flight Test Center, as well as manual and documentation review.
The ideal candidate will possess a valid Canadian ATPL and a Class 1 medical certificate, coupled with a minimum of 3,500 hours of total flight time, including 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command on large, multi-engine aircraft. Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel on short notice is essential. Previous flight test experience, a strong technical background in certification or training, or a US ATP are considered assets. The candidate must have the right to work and live in Canada. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills are crucial, as is the ability to manage stressful situations and maintain a positive, cooperative relationship with crew and management.
