Bombardier is seeking an experienced Captain to join its Demonstration Team. This role is responsible for performing flight operations, supervising crew, ensuring regulatory compliance, and representing the company at industry events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform duties of Trip Captain as assigned.
  • Supervise assigned crewmembers during all phases of flight operations (preflight, en-route, post-flight).
  • Conduct and supervise crewmember training on general operating procedures.
  • Counsel crewmembers and report any safety-affecting abnormalities to the Chief Pilot.
  • Ensure aircraft security when away from home base.
  • Make flight continuation or diversion decisions and report to the Chief Pilot and/or Scheduler/Dispatcher.
  • Ensure compliance with customs, immigration, and cabotage laws.
  • Verify aircraft release for service by maintenance and ensure all discrepancies are cleared.
  • Coordinate with the Chief of Maintenance to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Understand the role of Flight Operations in relation to Marketing and Sales.
  • Conduct unrestricted worldwide flying operations.
  • Participate at main airshows and events.
  • Answer performance questions on assigned company aircraft for Sales.
  • Acquire a second type rating on company product.
  • Acquire 500 cumulative flying hours on company product.
  • Attend Bombardier Safety Standdown.

Qualifications:

  • FAA ATP Certificate
  • FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • FCC Radio Permit
  • Minimum 3500 total flight hours
  • Minimum 1500 multi-engine turbine hours
  • Ability for unrestricted worldwide travel, including up-to-date immunizations.
  • Interpersonal skills for effective relationship development.
  • Computer skills for operating IPad, email, and web-based applications.
  • Planning and organization skills for workload management.
  • Ability to work in environments with varying climatic conditions and cabin pressurization.
  • Ability to work duty days up to 16 hours and cross up to 12 time zones.
  • Preparedness for deployments up to 16 days.
  • Willingness to work flexible and changing schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a CFI/MEI or equivalent (e.g., ex-military instructor).
  • International flying experience.
  • Transport Canada ATPL.
  • Transport Canada Category 1 Medical.
  • Type rating in a Bombardier aircraft (3500/6500/7500).
  • Previous Demo Pilot experience with Bombardier or a competitor.
  • Prior Captain experience on Bombardier product.
