Jet Aviation seeks a Captain for its Gulfstream 550 operations in Knoxville, Tennessee. This onsite, full-time position is categorized under Flight Services, with a career level for Technicians/Crew. Key Responsibilities
- Command all assigned flights, making critical decisions to ensure safety and compliance with federal, local, and company regulations.
- Maintain a complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems to operate with precision, manage flight plans, and adapt to changing conditions.
- Perform the functions of the In TSA Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) under applicable security programs.
- Conduct passenger safety briefings or assign the duty to the second in command.
- Support open communication on safety issues, report hazards, and uphold Jet Aviation's commitment to a secure environment.
- Record and report all aircraft discrepancies as they occur.
- Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, and complete accurate trip paperwork according to company procedures.
- Represent Jet Aviation, showcasing professionalism and dedication to delivering exceptional service.
Qualifications
Required:
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
- FAA First Class Medical
- High school diploma
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time
- 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command
- 1,500 hours Multi-Engine
- 500 hours Turbo-Jet
- 500 hours Turbine
- 100 hours Night
- 75 hours Simulated Instrument
- Ability to work a variable schedule
- Willingness to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions
- Appropriate Aircraft type rating and currency

Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is $250,000 to $270,000. This range is not a guaranteed offer. Final salary will be determined based on candidate experience, geographic location, and other relevant considerations.
