Job Summary

The International Captain serves as the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) for Adobe Inc. aircraft, responsible for both domestic and international flight operations. This role reports to the Chief Pilot and holds direct accountability for the safety and comfort of passengers and crew, adherence to company policies and global aviation regulations, and the punctual execution of flights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive operational excellence through superior customer service, sound judgment, ethical conduct, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ensure aircraft operations comply with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), the Adobe Flight Operations Manual (FOM), and all relevant state, local, federal, and international aviation regulations.
  • Operate aircraft in strict accordance with manufacturer specifications and limitations.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement FOM risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with the entire flight crew, including First Officers, additional pilots, and Flight Attendants.
  • Provide comprehensive pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight briefings to all crew members, ensuring clear communication and assimilation of critical information.
  • Coordinate with the Cabin Safety Attendant to ensure the safety of all food and beverage items, including ice and potable water, brought aboard the aircraft.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for Dispatch, Maintenance, and Executive Protection teams.
  • Act as the local point of contact for traveling executive passengers.
  • Foster an environment of leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and shared success through ancillary project management duties.

Qualifications

  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
  • Must possess good physical health and maintain an FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
  • GVI Type Rating (Note: Fleet modernization includes the delivery of a Gulfstream G800 in Q1 2027).
  • Minimum of 5 years of global experience as Pilot-In-Command of large cabin aircraft in corporate or commercial aviation.
  • Extensive flight experience, including 4,000 total flight hours and a minimum of 2,000 multi-engine turbojet hours, with significant international flight experience.
  • Detailed familiarity with FAA FAR Part 91 and ICAO regulations.
  • Knowledge, understanding, and explicit endorsement of Safety Management System (SMS) philosophies.
  • Familiarity with aircraft scheduling processes and mobile technology applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, mentorship, and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional time, project, and team management skills.
