Job Description

Surf Air Mobility is seeking a qualified Captain for the Caravan C-208 aircraft. This Exempt position reports to the Chief Pilot and Director of Operations. The role offers a route structure that allows most pilots to return home daily, with flexibility in scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

Piloting the Caravan C-208 aircraft in accordance with all company and FAA regulations.

Requirements

  • Current FAA ATP or Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument rating.
  • Minimum of 1200 flight hours total time.
  • 500 hours Cross Country flight time.
  • 100 hours Night flight time.
  • 75 hours Instrument flight time (no more than 25 simulated).
  • Current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate.
  • Radio Operators Certificate.
  • Valid US Passport.
  • Availability and flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to pass a 10-year background check and pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the C-208 aircraft.
  • 100 hours of Turbine total time.
  • Part 135 experience.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Guaranteed 65 Block Hours per month.
  • Hotel accommodations during training (approximately 25 days).
  • Paid training at $400 per week.
  • Medical, Vision, and Dental insurance with significant company contribution.
  • Company-paid $50,000 Life Insurance Policy.
  • $45 flat rate per diem for overnights away from assigned base.
  • CASS Participant.
