Co-Pilot Position – Babcock Mission Critical Services Onshore (BMCSO)
Babcock Mission Critical Services Onshore (BMCSO), a leader in providing essential helicopter services, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Co-Pilot to join its Norwich, Norfolk team. This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating from the Norwich base on the H145 D3, participating in a variety of challenging and rewarding missions, including Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) and Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) operations. The position demands the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and expertise in every flight.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the H145 D3 helicopter from the Norwich base, executing HEMS and NVIS missions.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and professionalism in all flight operations.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient operational environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Recent multi-engine experience.
- Current or recent HEMS experience.
- Experience with NVIS operations.
- UK ATPL(H) or CPL(H) with Instrument Rating (IR).
- Qualified and instrument rated on the H145.
- Fluent in English.
- Valid UK driving license.
- Valid Class 1 Medical.
- Ability to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance.
- Residency within 25 miles or 45 minutes of the Norwich Air Ambulance base (NR6 6EG).
Desirable Requirements:
- Completion of Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) Training.
