Babcock International seeks a dedicated and experienced Qualified Flying Instructor to join its team at either the Middle Wallop or RNAS Yeovilton sites. The successful candidate will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of military pilots.
The Qualified Flying Instructor will support aspiring Apache, Wildcat, Merlin, or F35 pilots through flying grading on the Babcock Grob 115E Tutor Aircraft. The instructor will provide one-on-one flying training, guiding students through a syllabus that encompasses navigation, instrument flying, and aerobatics. The role involves completing end-of-course reports, actively encouraging a culture of military ethos and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. The instructor will also ensure that all communication, documentation, and typed material meet the required standards, and complete staff continuation training requirements.
