Qualified Flying Instructor
Babcock International seeks a highly skilled and motivated individual to serve as a Qualified Flying Instructor at its Middle Wallop site in Stockbridge, Hampshire. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive compensation of £70,557.84 and the opportunity to contribute to the training of future Apache and Wildcat pilots.
The Qualified Flying Instructor will be responsible for providing instruction and guidance to candidates on the Babcock Grob 115E Tutor Aircraft, supporting their progression through the grading process. This role involves maintaining a high standard of safety and quality, encouraging a military ethos, and ensuring adherence to Student Care Directives. Day-to-day responsibilities include completing end-of-course reports, maintaining documentation, and fulfilling staff continuation training requirements.
Essential Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess prior military flying experience.
Qualifications:
- CFS B1 QFI/QHI category.
- A valid Class 1 medical certificate meeting MOD requirements.
- Minimum of a Commercial Pilot's Licence, Unrestricted Instructor Rating (with Aerobatics), and a valid Instrument Rating (A) SE SP.
- DTTT V2 (Defence Train the Trainer) certification.
- Completion of a Flying Supervisors Course/Flight Authorisers Course.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain SC security clearance.
