Babcock International seeks a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Flying Instructor to join their team at either Middle Wallop or RNAS Yeovilton in Somerset. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits.
As a Qualified Flying Instructor, the incumbent will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of Apache, Wildcat, Merlin, or F35 pilots. He will support candidates aspiring to these roles through flying grading on the Babcock Grob 115E Tutor Aircraft. He will provide one-on-one flying training, guiding students through a syllabus encompassing navigation, instrument flying, and aerobatics. He will also complete end-of-course reports.
The successful candidate will actively promote and maintain a culture of military ethos within 6 FTS and the Royal Navy, embracing Student Care Directives. He will uphold the highest standards of safety and quality, ensuring all communication, documentation, and typed material meets the required standard. He will also complete Staff Continuation Training requirements.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain SC security clearance.
