Babcock International is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join their team as a Qualified Flying Instructor at the Yeovilton, Somerset site. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive compensation package, including benefits. The Role ID for this position is SF61150.
The Qualified Flying Instructor will play a vital role in shaping the future of naval aviation by providing comprehensive flight training to Royal Navy students. Using Grob 115E aircraft, the instructor will deliver a demanding curriculum in a fast-paced, operational environment. Daily tasks will encompass student support, instruction on navigation, instrument flying and aerobatics, and participation in briefings to prepare for daily flight conditions. The instructor will also ensure all support activities are in line with the Site Operations Manager and Flight Commander’s directions. They will deliver mass briefings to students, adhering to the prescribed course standards.
The role operates Monday to Friday, 0800-1700, based on-site at Royal Navy Air Station Yeovilton.
The successful candidate must be capable of achieving and maintaining BPSS security clearance.
