Qualified Flying Instructor - Babcock International
Babcock International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Flying Instructor to join its team at Middle Wallop, Hampshire. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary of £67,031.28.
As a Qualified Flying Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering Army Flying Grading on behalf of the Ministry of Defence to selected Army students. You will be part of a close-knit group of aircrews and engineers, contributing to the safety and security of the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality instruction and assessment to Army students.
- Conducting flight training and evaluations on various aircraft types.
- Maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality throughout the training program.
- Preparing and completing comprehensive end-of-course reports.
- Fostering a culture of military ethos and adhering to Student Care Directives.
- Ensuring all communication, documentation, and typed materials meet the required standards.
- Continuously developing skills and knowledge through Staff Continuation Training.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous Military flying experience with a minimum CFS B1 QFI/QHI category.
- Hold a Class 1 medical certificate meeting MoD requirements.
- Possess a Commercial Pilots Licence, Unrestricted Instructor Rating (with Aerobatics), and a valid Instrument Rating (A) SE SP.
- Completion of DTTT V2 (Defence Train the Trainer).
- Completion of a Flying Supervisors Course/Flight Authorisers Course.
Security Clearance:
- The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain SC security clearance for this role.
