Babcock International, dedicated to creating a safe and secure world, seeks a skilled and experienced Qualified Flying Instructor to join its team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the delivery of Army Flying Grading for selected Army students on behalf of the Ministry of Defence (MoD).

Responsibilities:

As a Qualified Flying Instructor, you will be responsible for:

• Completing end-of-course reports.
• Fostering and maintaining a culture of military ethos within the 6 FTS, embracing the Student Care Directives.
• Upholding the highest standards of safety and quality throughout the 6 FTS operation.
• Ensuring all communication, documentation, and typed materials meet required standards.
• Completing staff continuation training requirements.

This full-time position requires a 40-hour work week and is based onsite.

Essential Experience:

• Previous military flying experience with a minimum CFS B1 QFI/QHI category.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Class 1 medical certificate, meeting MoD requirements.
• Possess a minimum of a Commercial Pilots Licence, Unrestricted Instructor Rating (including Aerobatics), and a valid Instrument Rating (A) SE SP.
• Completed DTTT V2 (Defence Train the Trainer).
• Successfully completed a Flying Supervisors Course/Flight Authorisers Course.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain SC security clearance for this role.
