Ground Crew Instructor - Babcock International
Babcock International is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Ground Crew Instructor at our Middle Wallop site. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary of £34,671.00 plus benefits.
About the Role
As a Ground Crew Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality training to our personnel. You will work closely with various types of aircraft and provide general support to the Middle Wallop Airfield and MT Support Manager.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training lessons and practical training methods.
- Maintain and manage the fleet of military refuel vehicles utilized for training purposes, including first-line maintenance.
- Accurately document student progress and any issues encountered through associated paperwork and reports.
- Prepare and complete daily, weekly, and monthly fuel account records.
Essential Experience
- Proven training experience, including the ability to develop and deliver instruction on specialized equipment to a diverse range of individuals.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in working in both office and external environments.
- Ability to be trained, experienced, qualified, and current to undertake the contracted tasks.
Qualifications
- A C+E driving license is essential.
- ADR or Hazmat qualifications are preferred.
- NVQ Level 3 in Instruction is required.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain SC security clearance for this role.
