Cabin Crew Training Instructor
Ascend Airways, a dynamic ACMI provider operating a modern fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft (NG and MAX), seeks experienced and dynamic individuals to join its Cabin Crew Training Team. Based at London Gatwick, the Cabin Crew Training Instructor will deliver exceptional training to crew members and customers, ensuring safety, service excellence, and professional growth. The Cabin Crew Training Instructor will earn a competitive salary of £29,500, plus £5 flight pay and a daily training supplement.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive ground school courses to both Cabin Crew and pilots of the company and its customers.
- Deliver training courses in a consistently professional manner.
- Utilize various instructional methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Contribute to the development of training materials and resources.
- Mentor and support new crew members and instructors during training and onboarding.
- Provide constructive and timely feedback to both Cabin Services and Training Management.
- Ensure consistency and quality assurance of all training content.
- Fulfill assigned duties and office days as required by the Head of Cabin Crew Training.
- Promote and implement potential areas of improvement and innovation to maintain high levels of delivery.
- Participate in departmental Audits and Reviews as required by the Head of Cabin Crew Training.
- Attend regular training team meetings.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
- Participate in continuous professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- A minimum of two years of training and assessment experience with a commercial airline or in a classroom setting.
- Train the Trainer or recognized teaching and learning qualification.
- Experience delivering SEP/SOP/Fire and Smoke/Wet Drills/Aircraft-specific training in a classroom/practical setting.
- UK CCA and UK Cabin Crew Medical.
- A good understanding of UK CAA regulations.
- Experience delivering training to diverse groups.
- Operational experience as an in-charge SCCM.
- Flexibility to travel within the UK and overseas for training delivery and to support the ACMI business model.
- Ability to work variable hours, including weekends and bank holidays, with days off in lieu provided.
Desirable (but not essential):
- Dangerous Goods qualification.
- CRMT Certificate and experience of delivery.
- AET Level 3 or equivalent.
- Valid CIN and the ability to deliver UK DfT aviation security courses.
- Experience on the 737NG, -8 Max.
- Experience conducting line checks and onboard compliance checks.
