Pilot-in-Command - IFR Operations
This position requires a highly skilled and experienced pilot to serve as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) for Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations, in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) 135.243(c). The successful candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and operational excellence.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must meet FAR 135.243(c) requirements for PIC in IFR conditions.
- A minimum of 1,800 hours of total flight time is required.
- Must possess at least 1,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command experience.
- A minimum of 500 hours of cross-country flight time (defined as point-to-point) is necessary.
- The candidate must have accrued at least 250 hours of multi-engine flight time.
- A minimum of 100 hours of turbine flight time is required.
- The candidate must have at least 100 hours of instrument flight time, with 50 of those hours in an actual aircraft.
- A minimum of 100 hours of night flight experience is necessary.
- Previous experience operating under FAR Part 121 or 135 regulations is essential.
- Must have a current Instrument Proficiency Check or have completed a Part 121/135 recurrent training within the preceding 6 months.
- Must hold a valid FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with a Multi-Engine Land rating and Instrument rating.
- Must possess FAA High Performance and Complex Endorsements.
- A valid First Class or Second Class Medical Certificate is mandatory (First Class required for international operations).
- Must possess a valid FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- A valid Driver's License is required and the candidate must meet all company insurance criteria.
- Must possess a current valid passport.
- Must be proficient in English.
- The applicant must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship and be able to travel unrestricted in and out of the U.S.
