This position requires a candidate to meet all requirements stipulated in FAR 135.243(c) for Pilot-in-Command authority in Instrument Flight Rules conditions. The successful applicant will possess a minimum of 1,800 hours total flight time, including 1,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command. A minimum of 500 hours of cross-country flight time, defined as point-to-point, is also required, as well as 250 hours in multi-engine aircraft and 100 hours in turbine-powered aircraft. The candidate must demonstrate 100 hours of instrument flight time, with at least 50 hours acquired in an actual aircraft, plus 100 hours of night flight time. Prior experience operating under FAR Parts 121 or 135 is mandatory. The candidate must have a current Instrument Proficiency Check or have completed a 121/135 recurrent training program within the last six months. The applicant must hold a valid FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine Land and Instrument ratings. FAA High Performance and Complex endorsements are also required. A First Class or Second Class Medical Certificate is necessary, with a First Class Medical Certificate mandatory for international operations. A valid FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit is also essential. Applicants must possess a valid Driver’s License and meet all company insurance criteria. A current passport and English proficiency are required. Finally, the candidate must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship and be able to travel unrestricted in and out of the U.S.
