Ameriflight Seeks Captain for Beechcraft BE1900 Cargo Operations
Ameriflight, LLC, the nation's leading Part 135 cargo airline renowned for its scalable and outsourced aviation services, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Captain to join its growing team. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the dynamic regional express airfreight market. Ameriflight operates a diverse fleet of over 150 dedicated cargo aircraft, including the Saab 340B, Embraer 120, Fairchild SA227, Beechcraft 1900, and Beechcraft 99, from bases across the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
Position Highlights:
- Aircraft: Beechcraft BE1900
- Base: Lansing, MI
- Schedule: Typically 5-day work week with morning departures and evening returns. Lodging provided at outstations.
- Compensation: $87,006 annual base salary
Responsibilities:
The Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with all Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Meets FAR 135.243(c) requirements for PIC in IFR conditions
- 1,800 Total Time, 1000 PIC, 500 hours Cross Country (point-to-point), 250 hours Multi-Engine, 100 hours Turbine, 100 hours Instrument (50 in aircraft), 100 hours Night
- Previous FAR 121/135 experience
- Instrument Proficiency Check or 121/135 recurrent within the past 6 months
- Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with multi-engine land, instrument rating, high-performance and complex endorsements
- First Class or Second Class Medical (First Class required for international operations)
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Eligible to work in the U.S. and travel unrestricted in and out of the U.S.
- Meets airport badging requirements, including a TSA Security background check
- Valid Driver's License and meets all company insurance criteria
- Current Passport
- English Proficient
