Captain - Beechcraft BE1900
About the Role:
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic Part 135 cargo airline as a Captain, piloting the reliable and versatile Beechcraft BE1900.
Responsibilities:
The Captain will operate under FAR Part 135 regulations, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of cargo. Typical flight operations involve a 5-day-a-week schedule, departing in the morning and returning in the evening. Overnight accommodations are provided at the outstation. Please note that schedules may vary depending on the base and specific flight assignments.
Qualifications:
To be considered, candidates must demonstrate a high level of proficiency and experience, meeting the following criteria:
- Minimum Flight Experience:
- Total Time: 1800 hours
- Multi-Engine Land: 250 hours
- FAR 135.243(c) Compliance: Applicants must meet all requirements for Pilot in Command (PIC) under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) as outlined in FAR 135.243(c).
- Additional Experience:
- 1000 hours PIC
- 500 hours Cross Country (point-to-point definition)
- 100 hours Turbine aircraft
- 100 hours Instrument time (with 50 hours in aircraft)
- 100 hours Night flying
- Previous FAR 121/135 experience is required.
- Recent Proficiency: An Instrument Proficiency Check or 121/135 recurrent check completed within the past 6 months is mandatory.
- Licenses and Endorsements: Candidates must possess a Commercial Pilot License with multi-engine land, instrument rating, and endorsements for high-performance and complex aircraft.
