A&P Mechanic to Pilot Sponsorship Program
American Flyers is seeking motivated and qualified A&P Mechanics to participate in its Mechanic to Pilot Sponsorship Program. This unique opportunity allows selected candidates to work as A&P mechanics while simultaneously earning monthly flight training scholarships, in addition to a competitive salary.
Participants will receive flight training towards their Private, Instrument, and Commercial pilot licenses. Opportunities may also be available to obtain Certified Flight Instructor certificates (CFIA & CFII). Upon successful completion of the program, continued employment opportunities with American Flyers as a Flight Instructor or A&P Mechanic are possible.

Qualifications:
- Must possess valid A&P certificates.
- Successful completion of an interview.
- Ability to work legally in the United States (visa sponsorship is not available at this time).
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
Maintenance Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct 50-hour and 100-hour inspections on Cessna 172, Piper 100i, and Piper Seminoles aircraft.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled daily maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with Airworthiness Directives.
- Conduct powerplant and electrical troubleshooting.
- Perform general aircraft maintenance duties.
